My life has been pleasant and at age 60 I have few regrets concerning things I have done or would have liked to have done. Even the past 6 years in which I have had cancer (ovarian) have not involved too much suffering and, indeed, have brought much jhappiness, including my introduction to Vedic Astrology. I suspect that having Moon conjoined Saturn and Mars in 4H has allowed me to accept the good and bad with a certain amount of detachment and has not given me a worrying nature at all. I do feel most sorry for Saturn who is so feared. He is only doing his job and in my case he gave me careers which served the public and the most recent - helping the poor, uneducated and disadvantaged to get an education. Others bring their sorrows to the native, and the native must learn to drink these sorrows without giving sorrow to others. Guest guest
|OM GURAVE NAMAH| Dear Visti Guruji and Vishwanatham, Sorry to interject like this. I want to write about my experiences as I have debilitated retrograde Saturn. I do not know if saturn will be called debilitated because it is is 28 Ar 59. However, I am going through Sa Moola Dasa(18/9/2001 - 18/9/2011). I have experienced a lot of sorrows all of my life. However since 2001, I have experienced a lot more and have felt myself transforming. Even when I do not agree with another person amidst conflict, I can feel the other persons sorrow and understand their point of view. I am including my chart below. Sincerely, Supriti -- These calculations were made using the free "Jagannatha Hora Lite" software, which can be downloaded from the website of its author P.V.R. Guest guest
Dear Nitin, I think one must understand the Atmakaraka principle in more depth. Like Gili I too have Saturn as my Atmakaraka. He haas not brought any grief to me. The reason is very simple. Saturn as Atma Karaka makes it difficult for the person to give grief to others, though he might be at the receiving end. Now it would depend on the way he/she looks at what is grief, for Saturn to be able to give him/her grief, is it not? If one asks for those with Saturn as Atmakaraka about their getting grief from Saturn, perhaps one will be surprised and understand what I mean. Personally, I think the expression of Atmakaraka giving grief and teaching a lesson is taken too literally as also in isolation. Chandrashekhar. This has given me much joy rather than sorrow.
