Om Namo Narayanaya

Respected Sarajit, Namaskar,

I read your article "Gemstones in Jyotish I" in your blogspot. Now few questions

are arising in my mind. Why do we wear gemstones if pooja ,mantra and japa can

remove the evils of malefic planets or good results may be enhanced by benefic

planets.

Now I require your comments on my statements.According to me Gemstones can be

worn when in one's horoscope benefic planets are weak either due to placement

or conjunction/aspect then the Gemstones of weak planet must be worn to

increase the significations of the planet. On the other side the malefic planets

who r causing his maleficense, his malefic nature may be reduced by chanting

mantra or doing pooja paath. This way we r trying to keep happy to those malefic

planets and those planets shed their evil effects upon the native.

When we wear Gems of a particular colour of a particular planet in a particular

finger, sun rays after reflection through that stones passes into th body of the

native and thus enhance the significations.

One more thing why a particular stone is chosen for a particular planet viz.Ruby

for Sun and Red Coral for Mars When the colour of both the stones are Red.Why

not Coral for Sun and Ruby for Mars. What is the reason behind this theory?

Please guide me on the abovementioned statements.further we may proceed.

Regards and respect,

Ramesh Mishra
