Dear Nitin,

I do not have Charakaraka replacement. Even if it were, how does it

impact the behaviour or results of original Charakaraka till the time

the replacement actually occurs?

Regards,

Chandrashekhar.

Dear Chandrashekhar Ji, and list members, Namaskaar.

Thank you for writing. Some thoughts below..

===========

Dear Nitin,

I think one must understand the Atmakaraka principle in more depth.

[Via NK]

True. In agreement.

Like Gili I too have Saturn as my Atmakaraka. He haas not brought any

grief to me.

[Via NK]

Wonderful.

The reason is very simple. Saturn as Atma Karaka makes it difficult for

the person to give grief to others, though he might be at the receiving

end.

[Via NK]

In agreement, again.

Now it would depend on the way he/she looks at what is grief, for

Saturn to be able to give him/her grief, is it not? If one asks for

those with Saturn as Atmakaraka about their getting grief from Saturn,

perhaps one will be surprised and understand what I mean.

[Via NK]

While others may be, I am not surprised, and am usually always sin

praise of Shani Dev, or calling upon peace. Again, in agreement.

:>

Personally, I think the expression of Atmakaraka giving grief and

teaching a lesson is taken too literally as also in isolation.

[Via NK]

In agreement, again.

Chandrashekhar.

[Via NK]

I wasn’t taking anything in the literal sense in my last e-mail.

Perhaps I may have seemingly stated so. What I did want to point out

was that there is a Chara Karaka replacement in Gilimary’s chart. Do

you share the same?

If this is your chart, I don’t see the same.

Best wishes and warm regards,

Nitin.

Dear Gili, and list members, Namaskaar.

Nice example, Gili – the entire chart has to be taken in perspective.

Don’t forget the Chara AtmaKaraka replacement by Jupiter. What are the

lessons that this planet would bring, and how has it been this far…?

Best wishes,

Nitin.

==================

Dear Ramesh,

I beg to offer one example where Saturn as AK has not brought sorrow to

the

native. Saturn is my AK and Lagna Lord. My life has been pleasant and

at

age 60 I have few regrets concerning things I have done or would have

liked

to have done. Even the past 6 years in which I have had cancer

(ovarian)

have not involved too much suffering and, indeed, have brought much

jhappiness, including my introduction to Vedic Astrology. I suspect

that

having Moon conjoined Saturn and Mars in 4H has allowed me to accept

the

good and bad with a certain amount of detachment and has not given me a

worrying nature at all.

I do feel most sorry for Saturn who is so feared. He is only doing his

job

and in my case he gave me careers which served the public and the most

recent - helping the poor, uneducated and disadvantaged to get an

education.

This has given me much joy rather than sorrow.

Love,

Gili

Thank you for maintaining the decorum of the Achyuta Ashram.

Reminders: (1) Recite the Shadakshari Mantra 'Hare Rama Krishna'

(2) Try to become Vegetarian - remember Akbar the Great who said that

the human stomach should not become a graveyard for animals.
