Could someone please help me understand how one would go about worshipping

Brhaspati? Could reading of the Vedas be a type of sadhana for Jupiter.

Also, could anyone inform me of the status of a strong kharesh in the navamsa.

For example, does an exalted kharesh who is a malefic harm the health more

effectively, or are his harmful effects mitigated by being in exaltation?

Guidance upon these matters would be appreciated.

Regards,

Michal.

Hi there,

Namaskar,

Brihaspathi or Guru (Jupiter) is "SarveshawaraKaraka" ie the planet supposed to

represent the "Chaitanya" or life force of all the Devas or Gods .The

Vaishnavites consider Jupiter as MahaVishnu. Some consider it as "Hayagreeva" A

section of Saivites consider it as "Dakshinamurty"Among VEDAS Jupiter is

"RIGVEDA"Among, DASHAMAHAVIDYAS, the worship of DEVI Tara is suggested to

pacify the evil affect of ill-placed or debilitated Jupiter in ones

horoscope. The Mula Mantra for Jupiter is "AUM BHRIHASPATHAYAY NAMA " The

Gayatri for Jupiter is

" AUM BARHASPATHYAYA VIDHMAHAY

DEVACHARYAYA DEE MAHI

TANNO BRIHASPATHI PRACHODAYATH "

I don't know what exactly is your requirement.Whatever it may be, you could

invoke Brihaspathi using the above referred Mula Mantra

Best Wishes

Pranav
