Dear Raghunath-ji,

congratulations for your detailed postings and

successful outcomes. I am a beginner in Vedic astrology and I am

studying things from books and Narasimha-ji's online classes. I

would appreciate if you could help me with some questions related to

my chart.

My DOB is : 3rd Jan, 1978 17:35 p.m., Calcutta (Hospital record)

However I corrected the time to 17:34 p.m. as Taurus is probably

more appropriate Navamsa than Gemini as far as physical features

goes.

My Questions are following:

1. I have a Vargottama Moon in Li and the strange thing is that Mo

occupies Li in several other charts and not just D1 & D9. Any

significance?

2. My AK is Me also Lagna Lord, debilitated in Navamsa (but with

Neechabhanga as dispositor Ju in Kendra). Me is also Maheshwara and

Kharesh. What is the significance, if any?

3. Ke in Pisces in 10th in D1. Some say Pi is moolatrikona for Ke.

Ke being mokshakaraka as well as significator of jyotish vidya in

Jupiter's sign (traditional knowledge)in 10th House, would it

indicate that I will be able to learn astrology and apply it (10th H

of karma)?

4. (a) Which dasa do you suggest for analyzing the main happenings

of my life? Vimshottari based on Chandra sphuta or lagna sphuta ?

Acoording to Narasimha-ji's lectures, lagna has more planets in

kendra to it than moon, so Lagna sphuta is better seed for

Vimshottari.

(b) Also how well is Dwisaptati Sama Dasa appropriate? My 7-th

Lord Ju is in 1st house.

5. (a) In my D-24, I found that I should see 7th house for my Phd.

Studies which I am pursuing and 8th house which is 2nd from 7th

house would show sustenance of Phd. 7H (Sc) has Su and 8H (Sg) has

Ju in own sign. Would I successfully be able to finish my Phd on

time and when as per Narayana Dasa? What does 9H (Cp) with Sa show?

I am asking this because I am passing through a period of doldrums

in my Phd education.

(b) Also 10th House being the karma sthana signifies break or end

of education. 10H (Aq) has two lords Ra and Sa. Which lordship shall

I take in D24? I think about taking Sa as it is in its own house.

6. In my Vimsamsa, I have LL Sa in 4H debilitated. But Sa is in

parivartana with Ma exalted in Larga, does this remedy the situation

that I will have some sukha (peace) on my path to follow my dharma?

If, as Narasimha-ji says that in case of parivartana we should

consider the planetary position after exchange, then Sa in Larga in

Cp and Ma in 4H in Ar will be good as it will also give mahapurusha

yoga. Mo (exltd.) and Ve in 5H in Ta also is good for devotional

nature. However, I am concerned about Me in 6H in Ge and Su in 8H in

Le. Su's position gives a Sarala yoga which is good for this chart

but also Su is significator of dharma and in dusthana is it good ?

All the planets in D-20 are strong being ex or own house except for

Ju.

7. In my D10, the strongest of the artha-trikona is 6H of overcoming

obstacles. It has 10L (Ma) and exalted (Ju). Ma gets neechabhanga

due to Mo and also Ma being retrograde. 10th co-lord is also in 3H

of speech and initiative. It is joined with Me and Ve. If we

consider Ke to be lord of 10H there is a dharma-karmadhipati yoga

with Ve. Also Me 5L is joining, giving a rajyoga signifying

recognition. But 6H has Ma debilitated so lot of hard work all the

time? Visti-ji has said that my work will involve a lot of money. is

it because Ma is there? Also Sc is in 10H, showing something related

to astrology as profession? Actually I have a lot of confusion

regarding this D-10 chart. I am only sure than I will be in service

rather than in personal business as 6H is stronger than 7H (i.e.

desire of having own business)

If you can kindly clarify this analysis and give an idea of the

missing links, I would be very grateful.

Following are some details about me and some events:

1. I am a PhD student in Mechanical engineering. I passed from IIT

Kharagpur in May-June 2000 and came to USA for higher studies on

July 29th, 2000. Since them I am pursuing studies.

2. I had an car accident on March 27, 2004 in which I escaped unhurt

except for a bump on the knee.

3. I do not have any siblings (perhaps Sa in 3rd in inimical sign

with a papakartari between Ra and Ma)

Thank you much,
