Assuming I have got the details correct, using Junior Jyotish I get 4 Planets in GREEN signifying an incredibly Strong Chart - most Charts I have analysed don't come close to this in terms of Strength. The unfortunate thing is that so far, he has SO FAR mainly gone/is going through the Dasas of his WEAK Planets Mercury - Mercury is Debilitated in the Natal Chart, and hence immaturity may be a Trait - I note that the very Strong Sun and Moon (his Secondary Significators for Father and Mother) are both Conjunct with Mercury, so it seems his Parents protect(ed)/look(ed) after him. Father looks incredibly fortunate as both 9th Lord Saturn and Sun are very Strong and well placed in this Chart. Perhaps he will get a good inheritance from Parents. You are absolutely right - he is in the Man Period of Functional Malefic Ketu, which is exactly Conjuct with and afflicting the Sub-Period Lord Venus. This Bhukti (Sub-Period) of Ketu-Ketu will be the tough one, but will be over in Late-April 2001. It will be followed by the Ketu-Venus Bhukti - Venus is his 5th Lord of [Romance/Intelligence/Higher Education] and is extremely weak by being in Extreme Infancy, and of course is afflicted by Functional Malefic Ketu. Best thing is to propitiate Ketu from now until the end of Ketu-Venus which finishes in June 2002 - in June 2002, he will start his extremely lucky Ketu-Sun Period - both he and his Father (if alive) will attain grand success. Sun is his 3rd Lord of [self Initiatives/Success/Writing/Younger Siblings] - as he is Gemini Lagna, I feel he will do very well in Writing Professions, and if he has any Younger Brothers (or Younger Sisters), I would expect them to be very fortunate too. Marriage in this Chart is seem through the 7th Lord (Jupiter), 2nd Lord (Moon), 4th Lord (Mercury), and finally through the Significator for Wife (Venus). Out of these Sub-Periods, I would not expect him to get married in the Sub-Periods of either Jupiter (who is badly placed in the 12th House in Infancy), nor in the Sub-Period of weak and afflicted Venus, and perhaps he can get married in Mercury Bhukti with help of Parents (Sun and Moon protect Mercury) - but Moon is the best Bhukto for Marriage - it is the 2nd Lord of Family (before Marriage) and of Wife (after Marriage), and is extremely Strong in the 10th Lord of [Rise in Life/Status) - so his Wife may be of a very good Social Status - his Mother also must be prominent in Society/Career (if still alive). Ketu-Moon Bhukti will start in November 2002, so then I expect he can get married. Now for the current Transits - although Moon is his Strongest Marriage Planet, Jupiter is his Main Marriage Planet (Lord of 7th) - Jupiter and Saturn are right now transiting in the Bad 12th House - but in June 2001, Jupiter will enter his 1st House of Self, and then in September-October 2001 Transit Jupiter will be conjunct/7th-aspecting his 1st/7th MEPs (Most Effective Point, which is Rising Degree) - so that may be a chance for Marriage. Although Gemini is the most fortunate Lagna, as it has only 2 Functional Malefics (Rahu and Ketu), right now Gemini-born are badly off as Rahu and Ketu are in their 1st/7th Houses! Right now, Transit Rahu and Transit Ketu EXACTLY are in his 1st/7th MEPs!!! This will be over by April 2001. Again, I feel his influential Parents may be spoiling him, and they will also assist him in Life. The 11th Lord of [income/Gains] is Mars, which is very Strong in the 9th House of [Father/General Fortune] - correspondingly, 9th Lord Saturn is very Strong in his 2nd House of [status/Wealth]! So again, I feel his Father and/or Mother will providde him with much Wealth. Both Yonger (3rd) and Older (11th) Siblings must be doing very well (if he has any). I would say Brothers are more likely than Sisters (both Younger and Older). Don't worry, this is a very exceptional Chart (if I have got the Lagna right). For remedies, at siha can be contacted (e.g. for the afflicted Venus and weak gemini and Jupiter) - he may need help in this difficult Ketu Bhukti and the difficult venus Bhukti, and the Professor would be able to confirm if he needs any Remedies. I would be interested in feedback, particularly in regards to his Father and Mother. One last point - these Sub-Periods will prove incredible for him from Jun 2002 until October 2003 - Ketu-Moon is best Sub-Period for Marriage.
