DAIVAJNA YOGAS : What signify in an astrologer Chart

These are some of yogas that can be lead to become an astrologer or

daivajna.

 

1) mercury in the lagna or 7th with saturn in the kendras,

 

2) the 2nd lord from lagna in exaltation, own house or mitra with

mercury in a kendra/kona or 11th is a powerful yoga for knowledge in

astrology.

 

3) mercury + saturn in a kona, one of the two being in exaltation,

 

4) mercury and saturn in kendras from each other

 

5) mercury and saturn in the 2nd from lagna

 

6) mercury in the 2nd and venus in the 3rd

 

7) mercury + venus in the 2nd or 3rd

 

8) venus exalted in 2nd and 2nd lord in exaltation, own house

or in friendly house

 

9) benefics in 2nd, 3rd and 5th from janma lagna

 

 

the above yogas will be benefited by the following yoga which give

the power of intuition.

 

jupiter will be powrful and free from malefic influence and should

Dear Sastry and list

 

My name is Jagan. Interested to note the combinations for an

astrologer chart.

 

I dont have any of the combinations on my chart. But for the last 6

months , I have been obsessed by vedic astro and spent most of my time

reading articles, books and analysing chart...

 

I have mercury ( lord of 6th and 9th) and Venus ( lord of 10th) in

10th. Does this combinations gives interest in astro ??. Or is it only

a temporary effect dur to the transits of Rahu ??

 

I appreciate if you or any one can throw some light on this ??

Hello everyone,

 

The Sun in Gemini makes one an astrologer. ( Vidya Jyothisha Vithavan

Mithunage Bhanau ).

 

The Moon in Cancer makes one a daivagna ( Daivajna Prachuralaya Kshayadhane

Samyujyate Chandravath ).

 

Jupiter in Cancer can give expertise in Astrology.

 

Cancer Ascendant alone can make one an astrologer.

 

Venus- Mercury conjunction in the eleventh can give proficiency in the arts.

 

I need not mention that all these present in my horoscope.
