Hello evrone,

I'm a simple homemaker suddenly got deeply intersted in vedic astrology- I'd

like to add here that my father is very knowledgable in this field.

I started reading about the subject when I started thimking about certain tnings

that happen in the course of a humanbeing's life - how much is it preordained

and how much of it do we bring it upon ourselves? My journey started thence. I

don't know if I'm capable of being a part of all the discussions that have been

going on but they are indeed immersing and show me that I have a long way to go.

Mr. Siva I have been intrigued by the 8th hose and its significance.I also have

saturn sitting in 8th house in my taurus lagna. My son has rahu in Pisces in

Leo lagna.My husband by the grace of sri ram is doing well but I feel that my

rahu in 5th house with my saturn aspecting it from the 8th house has started my

journey with meditation, god , astrology and philosophy if I don't sound

conceited.My date of birth is 11th dec, 1959 - Imphal manipur India . time 15

hrs. and 33minutes. I have rahu in 5th- virgo.Sukra in 6th- libra, 7th house

has jupiter- combust, mars - combust, mercury and sun all these planets in

scorpio do not portend well for married life so I have been told - but I have a

very happy marriage.saturn is in 8th house of sagittarius- it is yogakarka for

my lagna.Ketu is in the 11th house- aqarius.Moon is in the 12th - bharani

nakshtra first pad.Lagna is rohani nak. and is vargottam. Pardon my haphazard

way of explainig things. Presently running rahu mahadasa Rahu/ rahu/ sani?

Also I'm pretty intrigued by this change in my personality Is Rahu dasa

responsible for it? Do i have the stars for interest in jyotish- my children

are forever ribbibngme for being the greatest jyotisht alive.

Can anyone please illuminate me with regard to the conjunction of Sun and saturn

in the horoscope? I'm sorry for posting too many questions . Please try and

answer. I always feel stuck whenever I come across such a sticky combination.

influence over 8th ( and 12th also ) house is good than their locations (

posited ) in these houses. If benifics are located in the 8th house, they will

promote the 8th house significations but at the same time-these benifics-

reduce the betterment of the significations of houses ( Bava ) they own.They

are ( benifics ) not only affecting the ownership karakatuwas of the houses

they own but also some natural karakattuwas of them. In women charts -eight is

the house of Mankal, husband prosperity and longevity are seen from this

house. If benics aspects the 8th – her husband will prosper. ( 8th is second

from 7th ) . If malefics aspect or locate there, husband prosperity and

improvement will go down.In female chart ,if there are malefics ( or

influence ) from janma lagna and chandra lagna – bad will go to worse regarding

her husbands' prosperity. Chandra lagna works well with the above theory. (moon

Hello, The functional benefic Sun and Mercruy bode well in your marriage as

rulers of love, emotional and mental peace. Mars does afflict that house, but

it could mean trouble sleeping for your partner, or travel. Also the mool sign

of Sag is your first significator for marriage and it is in the house of

marriage, that is why the success is there. Now the eighth house issues come

to bare on partnership, so your husband may work with other's money, or you

derive wealth from him. But again it does not afflict the seventh house

closely. there may be some difficulties in jupiter bhuktis. Jupiter is
