Intro From The New Kid On The Block....

Hi everyone! My name is Kerry. I'm new to this group and I'm very new to

Vedic Astrology, but very interested in learning more about it. Please

bear with as I muddle along and play catch-up...and boy, oh boy, do I

have alot to catch-up on!!! LOL!!!

 

I've only read one book on the subject, and still can not figure out how

to calculate my "Vedic" birthdate, or if that is what I should be

concerned about figuring out in the first place? I also don't understand

how or why the chart is laid out the way that it is. Does your birthdate

or rather your birthday change every year?

 

Well, as you can see, I have questions.

I apologize if they are too silly for this discussion. I don't know

where else to go to them answered, since the book route didn't work out

to well. Any and all information you can give will be greatly

appreciated.

Hello Kerry, Valid question, welcome. The birthdate changes according to the

nakshatra, but otherwise it's the same. You can still go by when the Sun is in

it's birth sign, and then the first time the Moon enters it's nakshatra, that's

your birthdate, including the Moon. Sally
