I'm a bit skeptical but...

I am your trademark Aquarius. Idealistic, forward thinker, bad with

money and so forth.

 

There are some decerning thought that make me think about Astrology.

I have a great respect for Vedic Astrology rather then the Astrology

in the daily newspaper. If any of you at all have any thought or

opinions to share I would love to hear them.

 

1. I know many people who are also idealistic, forward thinking and

bad with money but who are not Aquarius.

 

2. There is something known in science called the "Barnum Effect".

In essence it believes that for some psychological reason when told

a commonly phrased sentences such as: "You are generally a happy

person but sometimes feel depressed", we as human beings tend to

take them in and think that this is us, when in fact it can relate

to everyone, hence the phrasing of the statement.

 

3. The most recent scientific research only found that 33 people out

of a group of 100 people were completely mapped out by an Astrologer

based only upon their personality. That's a very low number. However

I tend tot think these 33 people have a special connection with the

stars, which that might just be the answer.

 

4. Although I'm a skeptical believer in that I believe in essence

the stars determine our future but the stars have determined our

past especially in evolution, that when looked at rationally with

even an open-minded, predications usually don't happen. Then again,

I hope there is a bigger picture to Astrology rather then a commonly

phrased sentence in a newspaper.
