Gollipoli Landing (ANZAC)

Dear All,

 

Although mundane (world) astrology is seldom discussed, it too can

be a great tool for learning...particularly in the area of

rectification where the actual date/time of the formation of a

nation is often in doubt. I've worked with this chart for federation

of Australia (see details below) for some time now and I'm fairly

confident that the details are correct.

 

Today, Apr 25 2005, we commemorate the 90th anniversary of the

landing of 16,000 troops at a beach in Gallipoli. The ANZAC's

(Australian and New Zealand Army Corps) consisted of young,

untrained men who had signed up to fight for their mother country

(Great Britain) in the war against Germany...the first World War.

Turkey had joined the war (on the side of Germany) and the objective

of the ANZAC's was to defeat the Turks and (hopefully) shorten the

war.

 

It was a massacre! They had (supposedly) landed on the wrong part of

the beach and were confronted with huge cliffs, from the safety of

which the Turkish army slaughtered many as soon as they landed on

the beach. They dug-in (to trenches) advancing no more than a

kilometre or so (I think) in the 8mths they were there. They had no

change of clothing, inadequate rations and no sanitation. When they

were finally taken (under stealth) off the beach 5,000 ANZAC's (many

of them young lads in their early teens who had lied about their

age) and 9,000 Turks had lost their lives...

 

Today there is an exceptionally close bond between the Turks and the

ANZAC's as both consider ANZAC Cove (as it's now known) to be

hallowed ground. The words written by the (then) leader of the

Turkish troops, and future president of the republic of Turkey,

Mustafa Kemal (which are inscribed on the memorial at Gallipoli) are

a poignant summation of this profound bond.

 

He Wrote:

"These heroes blood flows over the soil of this new state of ours.

Right here, you heroes dwell in a friendly homeland. So you rest

here secure and calm. Beside the monuments to the Mehmets, rest all

you Johnnies, in each others embrace. And all you mothers who sent

their sons from so far away, wipe away your tears. Your sons now

sleep so very secure and in peace. Once they gave their lives in

this soil, they are our sons as well from now on."

The dasa running at the time of the landing, Apr 25 1915, 4.15am

(Turkish time) was SU-ME-MA-RA. Sun owning 12th house of foreign

soil was transiting natal Moon in 8th house of "Battle/Death" on

that day along with bhukti lord Mercury...both were passing through

nakshatra of Ketu who, along with Moon was transiting 12th house. PD

lord Mars occupies nakshatra of Venus who occupies 3rd house of

courage along with Sookshmantar lord Rahu.
