hi,

I had responded to your valuable information earlier.I understand that

i am in saturn dasha, but since saturn is my ascendant lord, it should

prove beneficial.Right? correct me if am wrong.

 

secondly, my next period is of mercury.But mercury is my 6th house

lord too.Hence, that period won't be much beneficial. right?

 

Please provide some light on my knowledge...

Here's the message in reply to yours which was sent on Saturday. I am surprised

that it did not reach you.

 

Dear Shan,

I meant to find out from you whether Saturn Dasa was good for you. Please

clarify.

Saturn as Lord of the 1st and 2nd Bhavas is in the 7th house. From here it

aspects 9th, 1st and 4th houses. Saturn aspecting its own house does tend to

fortify that house, viz. 1st house.

As for the other houses it is clear that its malefic aspect harms those houses.

It could be safely stated that your health was good during Saturn dasa.

You are right to assume that Mercury as lord of the 6th house may not be all

that beneficial. However, it must be noted that the 6th house lord being lord of

an Upachaya it is likely to be beneficial. But for some antar dasas.

particularly Mars (which is a badhaka for Capricorn Lagna) you may experience a

better period during Mercury dasa.
