Guest guest
Dear AN, Just had a quick glance before switching off my computer. My immediate comments are as below- 1. Though Lagna lord is debilitated, it is posited in the strongest kendra and hence not too bad. 2. I will consider the Moon seriously afflicted and devoid of strength. It's almost a new moon, posited in 12th and receives Saturns aspect. Saturn is boosted with Rahu's presence. 3. Good financial prospect. Jup in 2nd house, aspecting 8th. It also aspects lagna lord. 11th lord placed with lagna lord also indicates same. 11th lord is exalted in navamsa. 4. Lagna and 4th lord with 12th lord, receiving aspect of 7th lord indicates strong possibility of settling abroad after marriage. Guest guest
Dear AN, Thanks for posting this chart; in fact, I was in search of such a chart. >>>How to interpret an exalted Jupiter's aspect on exalted Venus.>>> Any planet for that matter, consider the natural significations, the significations of the rasi, the significations of the house wherein the planet in question is placed and finally the significations of the lord ship. Synthesize. Exalted position of a planet means it is in a happy or a comfortable position to gives its results to the individual. The results have to be fructified during the appropriate dashas. This should not be forgotten. Do not apply the rules given in the books literally but liberally. One classic says if exalted Jupiter aspects Venus placed in Pisces, the native would be in possession of elephants. Can anybody own an elephant today? What could be the possible meaning of this? The individual may own a heavy-duty vehicle. In the instant chart Venus the karaka for conveyance is aspecting the 4th house of vehicles and comforts further confirms the issue. This is one particular signification. >From the 2nd Jupiter aspects the 8th and connecting Venus. One possible meaning could be the spouse of the individual would be handsome. Here you are making use of the lordship, the 8th house (the face of the spouse 2nd from 7th) and the karaka for spouse. The individual would be sexually inclined and enjoys a good conjugal life. Further the results are to be modified because here the Venus is not alone but with two planets. Here you have to consider the status of those planets too. Let us take one more signification. Jupiter is the karaka for "sastras" and is placed in the house of ethics. It is in status. Mark this Jupiter neither conjoined with any other planet nor does it aspected by any other planet. The tendency of this Jupiter is to give good knowledge or interest in sastras. It is in the second house that would give husband, vehicle, gold and clothes. This Jupiter is in 2nd house of speech; this gives the quality of speaking politely and truth and follows the accepted norms of the society. This connection gives artistic taste. Venus a planet of art. It further gives emotional nature. The individual would be happy and contended. But at the same time one should consider the aspect of Saturn on Moon that would result in the individual would be somewhat moody at times. Both the planets are in dual and watery sign. Here Jupiter is aspecting the Venus but Venus is not aspecting Jupiter. That is one more important point. If both planets are exalted and cast mutual aspect, the better result giving quality is gets neutralized. This is my observation. Here, I would like to draw your attention to one point. The 6th Lord Mars is with Lagna lord who connects lagna too. He is with karaka for Venus and all the three aspects the 4th. The third is afflicted. Jupiter is in the constellation of Saturn. The situation emerges is that accident-prone? Situation is being saved to some extent by the influence of exalted Jupiter. >>>>Will an exalted benefic in a Dusthana (12th house) lead to wasteful spending by the native (given that Moon is the lord of the 2nd house). >>>>> Not necessary. Benefic planets in the 12th indicate the expenditure would be towards good purposes. Now what is good and what is bad and the individual would decide that of course. Hope this would help you to some extent. Regards, C.S. Ravindramani. PS: Is she the eldest. Guest guest
Dear Ravindramani and Sumit , Thankyou very much for the detailed analysis. She is an English teacher and has done her postgraduation. I have not met her in person, but would share my observations on this group as and when I know more. You can find more such charts in the period of Sep - Oct 1984 (say Sep 20), where "most" of the planets were in own or exalted or friendly signs. But I dont know anyone in person from this period. What is a bit surprising is that inspite of exalted rulership of the 5th lord (which should mark intelligence), the native chose a subject which does not involve much analytic acumen. I will try to find out whether it was due to compulsion or choice. [is it due to the aspect of Mars]. The looks of the person are quite average (again very relative, but I dont expect much from Mercury, inspite of the favourable aspect and association). Saturn is a neutral planet (owning a dusthana and a trikona) for this ascendant. How do we interpret its aspect on the moon. Mars being owner of 6th and 11th house is not a favourable planet for this ascendant. Given Mars aspect on the 1st house will the native have a hot and fiery temprament. Mars and Saturn aspects 5th house of children and intelligence. Given the malefic aspects and the exalted rulership of Venus, how would one interpret this. Should this explain why she may not have excelled at Science(still to confirm in person). Given the position of Jupiter, can one interpret that during the Dasha of Jupiter she will have good earnings through her husband. Broadly speaking how would you interpret the Dasha of Rahu, Jupiter and Saturn. With Kind Regards, A N > Dear AN, > > Thanks for posting this chart; in fact, I was in search of such a > chart. > > > >>>How to interpret an exalted Jupiter's aspect on exalted Venus.>>> > > Any planet for that matter, consider the natural significations, the > significations of the rasi, the significations of the house wherein > the planet in question is placed and finally the significations of > the lord ship. Guest guest
Dear A.N > She is an English teacher and has done her postgraduation.< Gemini ascendant, Mercury as lagna lord along with 4th lord, also aspecting 4th house results in a distinct possibility of having education in literature. In Bhava chart Mercury actually moves to 11th house aspecting 5th house. From Moon, again fifth house receives aspect of Mercury. B.V.Raman, in all his books, mentioned that 4th house represents education. Being greatly influenced by his work, I, personally, consider 4th house for "formal education" and 5th house for "overall knowledge". Request other learned members to please please further enlighten me on this. > What is a bit surprising is that inspite of exalted rulership of the 5th lord (which should mark intelligence), the native chose a subject which does not involve much analytic acumen.< 5th house is considerably afflicted with aspect of Saturn and Sun (dispositor of Rahu). Mars aspect normally helps to sharpen intellect. I think it's Saturn's aspect which acts as the dampner. Best regards, Sumit
Guest guest
I also observed that all planets are hemmed between Rahu and Ketu. Significations arising out of this are not very clear to me. Can anyone throw some light on it. Guest guest
Dear AN Thanks for posting this remarkable horoscope for our comments. Sumit and Mr. Ravindramani have already commented on the chart and so I will not repeat the points already made by them: 1. Lagna Lord is debilitated, but being posited in a Kendra along with an exalted venus the debilitation gets cancelled. The aspect of exalted Jupiter makes this cancellation beyond doubt. 2. That she is a teacher is not surprising at all. Lord of 10th is Jupiter and Mercury and Venus are posited in the 10th. The lord of the Navamsa occupied by the lord of the 10th, is again Jupiter. The profession indicated is clearly intellectual. But it could have been that of say a Chartered Accountant. That I think did not happen because the aspect of Jupiter (Guru) on Merc in Rasi and the Parivartana between Jupiter and merc in Navamsa. The conjunction of Mars, lord of 6th and 11th – both natural and functional malefic – probably prevented her from becoming a university professor and made her a teacher of English in a school.. 3. The 9th house is not as strong as the 5th house. Ketu is posited in the 9th and the 9th lord is retrograde in the 3rd along with Rahu. Lord of 5th is exalted in the 10th and the 5th is also aspected by an exalted Sun from the 11th. Probably because of this, though 4 planets are exalted in her chart, she really may get to enjoy only the Dasa of Jupiter. She finished the dasas of sun and moon by the time she was 13 years old and that of venus she may never run. The only dasa she is likely to benefit from is the 16 years of Jupiter dasa from May 2016 and this is likely to be the best period of her life. 4. She is currently running Rahu – Sat till June 2006. Rah-Sat, both from the classics and from my own personal experience, I can say, can be quite trying. In her chart, Sat is lord of 8th and 9th, posited in an enemy's house, is conjunct Rahu and aspects the 5th and the 9th. Is she facing any sort of a problem now? 5. Her marriage is likely to take place in Rahu- Merc which runs from June 2006 to Dec 2008. Rahu is in the star of Venus and Merc is conjunct Venus and aspected by lord of 7th Jupiter. The probable date will be between July 2006 to July 2007 when Jup will be transiting Libra or Scorpio and sat will be in cancer aspecting the 4th which can mean a move to her husband's place. 6. All planets between rahu and Ketu is called a Kala sarpa yoga and is supposed to make the native unlucky. The yoga is not mentioned in any of the classics and many respected astrologers have stated that it does not make much difference to the fortunes of a native. Even Jawaharlal Nehru had such a combination. 7. You also asked about the aspect of exalted jup on exalted Venus. Jupiter is the dispositor of Venus and aspects venus. Moon the dispositor on Jupiter is in the 12th, the house of venus and also lord of the 5th. I think the combination means that the lady is going to have a very happy marriage. Regards. Guest guest
I hope I have understood correctly - u are saying that all the planets are lock in between Both Nodes. i.e. Rahu/Ketu - than as per Indian astrology it is known as Kalasarpa Yoga - results life only starts to run smooth after the age of 33rd year. again it depends how and what planets are situated. - prayers to Lord Hanumana is adviseable- He his known as very powerful Rudradev .
