Marriage Prospects - A case

The mother of this girl is anxious about the marriage prospects of the daughter.

The details are:

 

DOB 9th Nov 1974

Time 9.50 pm

Place Tenkasi, India. 77E18, 8N58

Asc 19 Gem 53, Moon 27 Leo 14 using Lahiri Ayanamsa

Bal of Sun Dasa at birth 5Y 8M 26D (using 360 days Savana year.)

 

Some facts that I know. The girl and her mother live alone. The father deserted

the family long back. The girl is not employed and has studied only up to SSC

(Matriculation). Mother works in a Govt. organisation and supports the family of

two. My analysis is as follows:

 

1. Asc is Gemini with Sat in it. Sat is lord of 8th and 9th house. (mixed). Sign

lord Mer is in the 5th (good). Nakshatra lord of Asc Rahu is debilitated in the

6th (not good).

 

2. Four planets are in the 5th house Libra - Sign lord Venus (also lord of

12th), Lord of 1st and 4th Mer, lord of 3rd Sun, Lord of 6th and 11th Mars. The

combination of the 3rd lord, 6th lord, 12th lord and a mer suffering from

Kendradhipathya dasha in the 5th house is not very auspicious. Yoga karaka Ven

is within 1 degree of a debilitated Sun and quite badly combust. Mars is also

combust.

 

3. Jupiter in the 9th aspecting sat in lagna, moon in the 7th and the

combination above in the 5th, is well positioned. But Jup is Badhakadhipati and

also has Kendradhipatya dosha. Nakshatra dispositor of Jup is Rahu. Jupiter's

ability to do good seems to be somewhat compromised.

 

4. Analysis from the Moon - Rasi lord sun is debilitated. 9th is aspected by

debilitated sun. Lords of 9th and the 10th Mars & Venus are combust in the 3rd.

Lord of 5th Jup is in the 7th. This is good but Jup is also lord of 8th. Besides

in respect of marriage, Karako Bhava Nashaya rule will mean that position of

Karaka Jup in 7th is not good. Angles are affected by positon of debilitated

Rahu and ketu in the 4th and 10th houses.

 

5. The native is currently running Rahu Dasa and Mer Bhukti up to mid Aug 2007.

The Bhuktis that follow of ketu, venus, sun, moon and mars are also not likely

to be great for reasons mentioned above.

 

Factors delaying marriage in this chart are many and seem to be operating till

Jup Dasa begins in Jan 2015 when the girl will be almost 41 years old - a bit

too late for marriage by Indian standards. For the sake of the girl and more so

for the mother who is battling out single handedly in life, I would very much

like to be proved wrong. Can other members see things differently for this

horoscope?
