Guest guest
Namaste Aavesh, thank you very much for your comments. > This combination will make you extremely passionate & you will have > difficulty making decisions as there is a constant tussle between > the heart & the mind I certainly have trouble making decisions. However, I would not consider myself to be extremely passionate. I'm actually pretty laid back. I wasn't familiar with Ashtama Sani so I did look it up in order to understand what you are referring too. And I found Angel's post from last May that describes it- that was most helpful. In fact one of her examples was for Leo Ascendent w/ Moon in 5th house -- my case exactly. <jyotish-vidya/message/743> My experience since Ashtama Sani began has included starting to work longer hours in more tedious occupations and more self-restriction regarding new spending. And in general I have a taken a more realistic view of my financial situation. Specifically, I started to look for a job that offered more hours in October 2004. I got a new job and started working longer hours December 2004. And tomorrow I am starting yet another new job that has much more physical labor. Angel's comments: "Saturn transits teach us to take responsibility for ourselves." "2nd house aspect -> effects on the money matters" This is definitely applicable as the noticible shift has been toward more repsonsibility & specifically in regard to money matters. "the house aspect->bad as it effects the dharma of native and bad for native's father/guru" A big part of the restriction in spending has been a limiting the time/money taken for visiting Guru, something I am not usually willing to restrict. Also, the jobs I have taken are perhaps not as align with my dharma as they could be. I am grateful for the lesson in responsibility. And I am actually a big fan of Sani. I have offered black sesame seeds w/ milk on a few Saturdays for honoring Ancestors. Also I lead a Vedic chanting session on Saturdays. Maybe these activities have helped to mitigate the effects of Ashtama Sani?
