Guest guest
Dear Sirs, Namaskaar, Certainly the Lagna strength determines a person's sincerity in asking the question, and in many matters the Lagnesh signifies the querent himself. It almost always shows what the querent looks like physically in Prasna. In many other Prasna matters the Lagna is important to analyze, for example, when the Lagna degree is sandhi it may indicate that the question cannot be answered or there is nothing that can be done. The Lagna and planets in the 1st house of a Prasna chart should also correspond with the querent and the question in some way. For example, if someone is asking about a good time for imcorporating a business, we should see the Lagna, Lagnesha and planets in the 1st house somehow corresponding to a commercial rasi and/or planet. The Lagna should "fit" the querent and his question always. Nonetheless, the Moon also co-rules the querent in Prasna charts and in some cases become the main ruler. Furthermore, according to astrologer Sumeet Chugh in _Horary Astrology & Swarauday Shastra_ "THE MOON RULES THE MIND OF THE QUERENT. FROM IT, ONE CAN ASCERTAIN WHAT IS ON THE QUERENT'S MIND" (p 26). This is also a very important rule in Western HORARY principles-the Moon is #1 for ALWAYS telling what the querent is thinking about. When a native asking the question is not being completely forthright, we can still learn what he is thinking by the Moon. For example, if he is asking about a relationship, and he is not telling us that he harbors ill will toward his partner, we can see this anyway from the position of the Moon, even without his telling us. Guest guest
is the query and querist are genuine The points to be examined are: 1) If there is Moon in the lagna. 2) If Saturn is in kendra. 3) If Mercury is combust. The querist is dishonest. If the prashna kundali is aspected by Sun and Mars the querist is not an easy believer. If the lagna is aspected by a malefic the querist is not an easy believer. If the lagna has benefics, the querist is an easy believer. If Moon is aspected by Jupiter the querist is an easy believer. Note: Prashna Bhushan adds the presence of Sun in Kumbha to say that the querist is not an easy believer. But I have not found it correct. - Juliana Swanson<omhamsa jyotish-vidya<jyotish-vidya> Monday, July 11, 2005 3:26 AM Re: What a Person is Thinking in PRASNA Dear Sirs, Namaskaar, Certainly the Lagna strength determines a person's sincerity in asking the question, and in many matters the Lagnesh signifies the querent himself. Guest guest
Dear Juliana, May be we add one more dimension to Prasna that normally the querrent's timing normally will have link with natal chart of the querents in almsot 90%cases and the relevance can be traced to D/9.lagna and pancham apart from Navam. Such confirmations from natal charts too become essential as it helps in finding the data correctness. It can not be overstated that the accuracy of the data, sincerity of querrants to resolve issues and the Astrologers own ability to decipher the issues are very essential elements not only for parsna but the vore subject itself. As far Sumeet Chugh's explanations and Deepak Kapoor stupendous effort in scietifical approach of prasna Shasra is concerned each one of them have their own elucidations."Consequently Lagna only should be seen(for these results) pertaining to the querist and for other party"Chapater(relating to Marraige) Therfor my approach is always to confirm and reconfirm issues posed and even if possible with natal charts to predict one the solutions of the problems. Classicals on Prasna Shastra (Late B.V.Raman and Hora Shastra) some how have their own ways of analysis and are elaborate.Importance always attributed to Lagna krishnan Juliana Swanson <omhamsa wrote: Dear Sirs, Namaskaar, Certainly the Lagna strength determines a person's sincerity in asking the question, and in many matters the Lagnesh signifies the querent himself.
