I am working on old horoscopes of my family members. In old system they write `` ISHATKAL `` instead of birth time. ISHATKAL is time passed after sunrise. but the real problem is how to detrmine sun rise oF certain place, becuse there is no uniformity in Ephemeries and panchangs and even different software of vedik astrology give different sunrise time of a same place. can anyone of you guide me as what is the correct method to calculate the sunrise time of any place say Delhi or Allahabad in Niryan system. madhav Too much spam in your inbox? Guest guest Posted September 1, 2005 Report Share Posted September 1, 2005 Dear Shri Madhav ji, Determining ishtakal(TOB) with reference to sunrise can be obtained as per present day Vishwa Vedant panchng released fromBenares as well as from Delhi released by Rashtreeya Sanskrit Vidya peeth.New Delhi,the info can be made out.In all panchang a correctio factor table is normally appended in standard panchangs with reference to the well developed places.
