Guest guest
Dear Mrs Wendy and other respected members, I have 2 queries which are as follows, The first - Is it better to have malefics week or strong esp if they are not owning dushthanas? For example is it better to have say a mars for Taurus Lagna combust with Sun or non combust with sun. ( What will be its effects (1- with mars combust and 2nd with mars non combust but still with Sun on the relationship/marriage as it owns 7th house) The second, What are the parameters that decide where (in which direction from his place of birth)a person will settle and prosper. Best Regards Nilesh _____ Too much spam in your inbox? Mail gives you the best spam protection for FREE! http://in.mail.
Guest guest
- Nilesh, While awaiting a word from Wendy regarding your two queries, I would say that any planet under all conditions is better if it is not combust. Combustion has no mitigating factors. I may stand corrected by others members. Guest guest
Dear Nilesh, As per the rules of Parashara, weak or afflicted planets (whether natural malefic or benefic) cause reduction in good effects. In the example you give (Taurus lagna), Mars owns 7th/12th houses...when weak or combust the significations of the houses ruled by Mars will not flourish. The native can face difficulties/miseries in relationships and so forth. If combust these difficulties may arise through the native's own ego or self-absorption. As an example a native may be more absorbed/attached to his own beliefs or to his career or his desire for moksha (whatever) than to his partner or spouse...subsequently the relationship can suffer. This is just one small example, there are as many interpretations as there are horoscopes...one has to consider all the influences, don't you agree. As for your other question, the direction each planet may lead you (if connected to a house of travel) is thus: Sun = East Moon = North-West Mars = South Mercury = North Jupiter = North-East Venus = South-East Saturn = West Rahu = South-West Ketu = South-West Whether the native will settle and/or prosper depends on the houses involved and the strength/dignity of the planet. For instance, 12th signifies travel to far-off places whilst 7th and 10th signify residence in foreign land and living abroad respectively...9th house, if my memory serves me, denotes long-distance travel for pleasure (as in holiday etc) whilst 3rd house deals with inner-city travel (short journeys). Guest guest
Dear Nilesh, I might just expand a little on what I said regarding combust planets. We need also to consider the planets role as karaka i.e. Venus combust might give rise to similar problems (self-absorbed) contributing to difficulties with spouse...same for Mars as karaka for siblings, Jupiter as karaka for children, and so forth. ____ - "Wendy Vasicek" <wenvas <jyotish-vidya> Wednesday, August 31, 2005 12:26 PM Re: two queries Dear Nilesh, As per the rules of Parashara, weak or afflicted planets (whether natural malefic or benefic) cause reduction in good effects.
