Guest guest
Dear Dhanyavaad (and all members), There's always a better chance of getting a reply to your questions if you post them to the group. If, as it is at the moment I'm afraid, I'm too busy to respond there's always the possibility that some other learned member will do so :-) Your question regarding navamsha is a good one and deserves a good response. If no other member has offered their insight within the next day or so I'll endeavour to do so... time permitting. I hate it that I'm so busy off-list but it's just unavoidable at the moment. Guest guest
Dear Dhanyavaad Ji Dharma is examined in the ninth house and the one-ninth division of signs is called Navamsa. Parasara advises us to examine this divisional chart (Navamsa) for spouse as it is the fruit/gains of Dharma and there lies the importance of Navmasa. Guest guest
Hi "aprameyaha" Your neighbourhood friendly Navamsha girl is here to answer your question. Navamsha represents fortune and religion. To get married is to uphold the "dharma", the laws of society. Relations outside of wedlock are considered "sinful", not referring to contemporary "live-in" lifestyles. A bad D-9 indicates difficulties in marriage, or in getting married. A spoil Venus in the D9 will definitely impact marriage negatively. If you are keen on studying this aspect further, then aggregate charts of people with long-lived marriages, and people with divorces, and study them. All charts MUST be studied with due respect to the Rasi chart. Hope this answers your question. Rgds., K. Guest guest
Namaste All, Dear Angel ji, I could understand that navamsha is one-ninth division of signs and dharma is examined in ninth house. what does it have to do with marraige. even the seventh house says something about the spouse isnt it?. I guess I need more light on dharma, navamsha and marraige. relatioonship between them. and also the duration of marriage. meaning when are two people said to be married ] just by tieing the knot? or saying I DO or is there any time with that . niine months, one year? I hope I could convey my doubts to you all. And dhanyavaad in samskrit means thanks. My name is APRAMEY. Guest guest
Dear friends, Marriage is a bond and the duration is indefinete unless the 2nd bhava to 7th is afflicted where in indication leads to loss of spouse(mangalyam)etc. Afflictions in married life can be seen in navamsha as well in dasa ,disposition of dasa lord with refernce to navamsha lagna and 7th lord along with aspects indicate duration of marriage. Progressive chart is a very important divisional chart to be considered for marriage and afflictions there of arising due to presence of malefics in 8th in natal as well as navamsha krishnan aprameyaha <aprameyaha wrote: Namaste All, Dear Angel ji, I could understand that navamsha is one-ninth division of signs and dharma is examined in ninth house. what does it have to do with marraige. even the seventh house says something about the spouse isnt it?.
