When I asked you if it would be successful, you said: <<<The chances are not really bright even though your performance was good>>> Well, I just got a mail from the HR person there, who has told me that this job is not bound to work out. Of course, I also hope that your second prediction works: <<<It is expected that mercury is to retrograde around 14th november and the offer may materialise before>>> I had told you about an offer that almost materialized, but fell through, and now seems poised to return. Well, I am banking on this working out. The delay is frustrating, but a recent incident has convinced me that delays are not that bad. On Sunday, Oct 23, 2005, I was supposed to visit the Sri Aprameya Swamy temple in Dodda Mallur, which is 60 km from Bangalore. This temple is famous for "Ambegal Krishna," which depicts Baby Krishna crawling around with a small butterball in His hand. We were supposed to leave Bangalore by 7:00 AM, but because of rains, we could leave only around 9:00 AM. We reached the temple around 11:00 AM, and we were fortunate enough to witness Abishekam being performed to Krishna. If everything had gone as per OUR plan, we would have missed the Abishekam. But, He decided to delay our departure, which helped us to witness the Abishekam! I don't know Prashna, but as per Sarvato Bhadra Chakra transits, this week, Sani moves into Aslesha, the 3rd star from my Janma Nakshatra Punarvasu, and Guru moves into Swati, the 9th star from Janma. Sani's placement is not great, but he will no longer afflict Satabisheka, my Uday Nakshatra [18]. Also, Guru will now be able to aspect this point from Swati. So, in the near future, the affiction upon this point will be removed, and actually strengthened, and I'm praying that this will fetch me a much-needed respite and give me a job. I'm thrilled that your prediction, though negative, has worked out. You see, I have seen a lot of your predictions work perfectly, and the moment you told me that the job won't work out, I had given up hope. This saved me the disappointment of the HR person actually telling me that it will not work out. Well, now, I'm waiting for your second prediction too to work! Wish me luck, Krishnan ji! ~~~~~~~ Balaji Narasimhan * http://www.sherlock-holmes.com/balaji.htm Author, Sherlock Holmes: Solutions from the Sussex Downs Editor, The Partial Art of Detection ~~~~~~~ FareChase: Search multiple travel sites in one click. http://farechase.
