Significator for back and pets

Dear respected Members,

What are the significators and houses for back (spine) and pets (mercury and 6th

only?).

I have a friend who was severelly afflicted with back pain when Jupiter was in

Virgo.

He does not know his right time of birth, so maybe if I knew the significators

well, then I could finally find out wether he is a Virgo, Leo or a Cancer.

Because many of his animals have recently suffered road accidents, and some have

died, I wonder which Ascendant might he be given the current transits.

His date of birth is December 9th 1957 in Listowel, Ireland. 9W29, 52W27.

I was wondering if maybe someone among our friends would care to have a quick

look and give me his/her opinion, which I would value so much!

Certainly lower back represents virgo sign as per kala purusha ( of mercurY)

along with pets.Then if the pain is not just as a result of chronic

problems,then he will be cancern born.if the pain is associated spinal cord then

he can be assigned as a result of Leo.if pets too undergone problems,the link

will establish virgo sign.

Thank you for your reply. I confirm it is lower back but it is now much better.

One of his dogs died last Friday afternoon hit by a car, the week before, it was

the cat, and the other dog also was hit by a car but did not die... Last year

around this time the dog that died on Friday broke her led and had to be

operated so it cost him a lot of money to treat her... What could be the planet?

Rahu, Saturn or Jupiter? Or a combination of planets? I think that since it has

been an ongoing situation, it must be one of the big slow ones... what do you

think?

Sir,

may be some things are getting clear to say that if your friend is born around 5

P.M,his rasi may be cancer and if around 7,30 or so in the night must be

virgo.Now on these constructs if we now relate to longitudes we may get some

indications.It is between cancer moon to virgo depending on time

If we go by the nature of pets they are canines,quadrupeds involving rahu-ketu

by aspect of mars where it involved operation together with saturn

aspect.basically it is that your friend is undergoing sadesati involving his

back pain as you said lower back.Pain is the result of mars aspect on

saturn.somehow my prashan lagna indicates his moon in swati in 5th with ascdt of

gemini in mars constellation.

Rahu-ketu in 4/10 axis.ketu is in hasta(moon)constellation.As Decenber born sun

must be sagittarus

Dear Rui, Krishnan and All,

If I might just add a little here... Both the sign Virgo and 6th

bhava signify the area of "Hips" i.e. lower back, waist and small

intestine area. As we know the part of the body represented by the

sign/bhava can be afflicted if it's occupied by a malefic and/or if

it's lord is afflicted... Also bear in mind that 6th bhava governs

pet animals.

With the tentative time of 23:00 (given when we discussed this chart

previously), the native has been running bhukti of 6th lord Saturn

since Oct 2004. Saturn is suffering combustion. Of course this would

be the case if lagna is either Leo or Virgo as Saturn owns both CA &

AQ. However, as it seems that your friend is quite attached to pets,

Venus in 6th (for Leo lagna) seems more plausible. Also Jupiter's

transit through Virgo (aspecting 6th) is significant as he owns 8th

from lagna and 12th from 6th.

This is just a very quick observation for now (time for

bed)...hopefully I can take another look tomorrow. Rectification

would be easier with some more information i.e. occupation,

interests, major events etc.. I know you supplied this once before

but I'm afraid I neglected to save the notes with the chart.

Looks a positive approach and indication too.Mostly it was also on the same ines

when i too approached

Dear Mrs. Wendy, your words are very welcome, also Mercury afflicted by Ketu

would then be in the 5th house accounthing for his stomach problems.

Physically he does look like a Leo because he is slim, lean, has frekles, brown

curly hair. He is also a bossy generous person. On the other hand, he has huge

blue eyes like a Virgo rising and if he is a Virgo rising then his Arudha lagna

would be Sagitarius with Mercury inside it which would make sense because he is

a story teller, he likes making up stories and maiking people laugh (i know it

can also be Leo). Also he is extremelly tidy, which a very virgoan feature.

He works as a care taker in a primary school (Virgo I think?) - Saturn

combusting his Sun gives him jobs like that. He also does a lot of painting and

that is when he hurts his back. He is a gifted worker but he wears out his fiery

energy.

He suffered from serious depression during his 20 - 30 and he is still on

medication for that. His mother died on 2nd February 2001 and his father died on

8th April 2004. He has a niece he loves like a daughter but she has cerebal

palsy.

I thought of Cancer as another possibility because he looks after a lot animals

and he has a small farm, also he is a good cook bakes bread, has own appleyard,

etc... Also because then Saturn would rule the 8th house and Jupiter the 6th...

but Mrs Wendy is probably right when she says Saturn's weakness would create

problems anyway.

I would really be thankful if we could discuss this and I would provide all data

necessary for discussion. It would be very important especially now these bad

things are happening to him so I could find a way to help him out...

Mercury afflicted by Ketu? Where did you learn this? It certainly

wasn't from the teaching of Parashara (or other like sages)...sounds

more like SJC teaching to me. Nowhere, nowhere, nowhere does

Parashara give aspects to the Nodes. You must leave this aside, at

least until you know the significations of bhavas/grahas as

intimately as you know yourself...the basics!

Stomach problems, if associated with indigestion, are seen also from

planet).

Rui please learn the basics. Quality of face (eyes etc) are seen

from 2nd house which (with Leo lagna) is ruled by Virgo...

Techniques such as Arudha lagna will only confuse you

more...concentrate on the basics until you have the chart

rectified - then you can experiment with these other techniques if

you wish.

Story telling, oral expression of knowledge, poets etc., is seen

from 2nd house of speech...again this house is ruled by Mercury.

Daily work, personal hygeine, preparation of food and so forth are

seen from 6th house...consider Venus in this house with it's lord

Saturn conjunct lagnesh Sun...and both in nakshatra of Mercury.

He is a caretaker rather than a professional person. Note 10th lord

in 6th house of service (paid work). Note also Venus' dispositorship

of Jupiter, significator of children.

Fourth house, as we know, signifies general happiness and

contentment. Here we have lagnesh Sun conjunct F/M Saturn, the

planet of depression, melancholy etc.. These planets are natural

enemies and when conjunct become bitter enemies.

Checking the transits for those dates will help to fine tune the

birth time (I haven't time at the moment, I'm afraid). However, at

the time of his mother's death he was running KE-VE-SA dasa. Ketu's

dispositor (Mars) occupies 3rd house which shows parents

death...Venus is lord of this (3rd house) and his dispositor

(Saturn) is combust in 4th house of mother. Look at father's death

in same way considering transits etc..

Consider the significations of 4th house...farms etc are governed by

this house which is occupied by lagna lord and lord of 6th house of

work.
