Guest guest Posted November 9, 2005 Report Share Posted November 9, 2005 Dear Jiger and Vijay, I completely agree with JIger that the Sun, 6th lord, is 100% malefic and afflicting for the father, but in this case its influence over the 2nd house in natal is limited because of the ascendant degree, so there is a chance that with good transits, and the current position of Mars, things may improve. Venus is indeed also malefic for him as well as Saturn's aspect, but then again these natal influences are only a promise of something that is likely to come to fruition during bad transits and dashas and they do not constitute a basis for this man's nature if time of birth is accurate. I do believe things will improve during the Mercury/Mars (Dec 2005 to Dec 2006) period when the transits are favourable because natal Mars (2nd lord of wealth) is in the 11th of gains aspecting the 5th (also of gains) on degree 16, which is on top of the Ascendant degree (15.45), having thus a decisive, natural, influence over this chart. I am aware that even if the Sun has no influence, benefic Mercury will always bear its combustion and will always be handicapped in that way, so it cant help the 2nd house too well, rather harm it. I would imagine the father wasting money in gadgets or other kind of things related to Mercury. However, when Mars, lord of Aries, is strong in transit and dasha, I believe there will be a possibility of improvement for the 2nd house, but due to the fact that this house is weak, it will be vulnerable to transits of Sun (6th lord), Venus (8th) and Saturn (12th)'s aspects when in Leo, so during 2006, we have to watch out for those, meaning that things will change for the better but there must be a lot of effort put into it from the father otherwise things won't last. As Jiger put it, judging from this girl's chart, the planets do not seem to be on her father's side, and I agree with Jiger's interpretation, only slightly differ in some details because I am going a different way around the chart. Also, Jiger has much more experience than I have, so maybe there will be no improvement, but I rather be positive and think that yes there will be improvement in 2006, but it will be on and off because of transits. I have met with few. there is no common approach as everybody is using by the own way as stated by their guru along with some mantra Siddhi, (i dont know very clearly as they never open). They are using only on Lagna Chart without using any divisional chart. I find it a very broad approach as lagna does not changes in average two hours (few are not even considering moon.) It will be highly appreciated by all learned member to know your approach to read chart and thus further add some good chapters to this lost Jyotish. I request you to compile your principles and post to this forum or any other way you wish about cycles if you dont mind spreading light on this subject as a whole. You can explain with examples to prove ur cycle theory to satisfy other learned members. If you are on your research than we all are waiting to complete. My view is to apply any principle only by going in depth into it with practical observing on charts. Thanks again for your comment on the chart for third year(though i have not found any loss or sickness yet) and 12th year. I find Rui explanation on Mer/mars dasa more pronouncing as attemp is very good and convincing. I appreciate you also as you have said from the angle of cycles of which we are not aware. I personally dont agree about the Ucch bhang yoga you said. In any case, bhanga yogas (like all yogas) apply during the periods of the participating planets with their effectiveness determined by many factors. I should point out also that numerous planets in exaltation is not necessarily a good thing. For instance of the four exalted planets in this horoscope (excluding Nodes) the greatest benefic is YogaKaraka Mars who owns 5th/10th. Jupiter is considered neutral due to his 6th/9th lordship...not good, not bad...9th lordship neutralising evil effects of 6th, however, I do feel the combination of 9th/1st lord in lagna adds to the beneficence (others might like to comment on this). Sun is likewise said to be neutral for this Asc., whilst Venus is considered a F/M. We also need to be mindful of the degrees of exaltation when determining the efficiency of the exalted planet to fulfil it's potential, whatever that may be. Mars again is travelling towards his highest degree of exaltation whereas Jupiter, for instance, has passed his degree of exaltation and, although still in his sign of exaltation, is travelling towards his sign of debilitation. In this way, the strength of exalted planets should be (proportionately) judged. This point I made some time ago on the group when we were discussing the effect of exalted planets in retrograde motion...it seemed to fall on deaf ears at the time, but the point still stands (in my opinion) that, if an exalted planet which has passed it's degree of exaltation, turns retrograde, then it's increasing in potential/strength as it's now travelling back towards that point. I will just make a quick observation, whilst I'm here, about the father (seen in this particular chart). The child is running dasa of 3rd/12th lord Mercury who is conjunct the significator of father in 10th. From 10th Mercury is again adverse owning 3rd/6th.
