Your observations are quite good :-)

(and Mars)...I spoke of this earlier in regards to health. But of

course there are other implications as well. No doubt the condition

of 5th/10th lord Venus has proved difficult in relation to children

as well as status/position in life (ups and downs). But the

exaltation of Jupiter (karaka for 5th) and his star lord Mercury

(karaka for 10th) has been a good antidote, and, in spite of the

obvious difficulties (worries, concerns, betrayal, loss of position

etc) which surface during the appropriate time (dasa), the

relationship with my children is very close etc, etc..

Yes indeed, 11th lord Mars in 5th has brought a lot of difficulties,

sorrows etc (in regard to children). However, in spite of this, 5th

house significations (children, mantras, meditation etc) have been

the source of my greatest joy...pranapada in 5th, karaka for 5th

exalted etc.. It's a balancing act, isn't it. In the words of John

Denver; "somedays are diamonds, somedays are stone..." This is

life - this is karma :-))

 

I must just add here that I don't to KE/RA aspects.

Yes, and both occupy nakshatra of exalted 9th lord. Also, if we

consider yogas in navamsha, their conjunction in 5th forms a RajYoga

(Rahu in trine conjunct a kendra lord). Certainly JU/RA period was

the most blessed period in my life.

As we know, 5th house governs children and 9th house governs 2nd

children (grandchildren). I think B.V. Raman describes gulika in 9th

as; "unhappy on account of children and deserted by them". This

describes the situation with my grandchildren quite well...whereas

the situation with my own children (during Mercury dasa) has been

quite close on the whole, except for some difficulties during the

appropriate sub-periods.

 

I can't quote chapter and verse at the moment but I do recall

reading that the results due to upagrahas, which manifest during the

dasa of their dispositor, are modified for better or worse depending

upon the dignity of the dispositor i.e. inimical sign, friendly

sign, own sign etc..

 

Others might know where to lay their hands on that particular text?
