Guest guest
Wendy ji, Many thanks for the excellent analysis! Your knowledge of Jyotish and David have enabled you to do a comprehensive study, one which has illuminated all our minds! Going back to the beginning - I think that it was my folly, trying to "force" a religious perspective on a chart, and finding all the "right" points - which will exist, when you want to find them, anyway! However, I'm happy that my mistake has enabled me to understand Jyotish better. In future, for religion, I shall always study the 4th - after all, as you have pointed out, if the person's happiness does not come from religion, it would be wrong to assume that religion is embedded in the chart! <<<I know it's a tendency (and I'm certainly guilty of this) to look at the 12th primarily as the house of moksha>>> Yes, Wendy ji! Being quite religious, I generally tend to forget that the 12th also rules sin and pleasures of the bed! Of course, the illicit relationships perhaps spring from a weak 9th lord in David's chart. <<<He and his spouse have many friends and acquaintances and there's hardly a week when they don't throw a party and hardly a time when there's not people at his house. I'm well aware of the clandestine romances that often rock the relationship between he and his spouse.>>> Friends are ruled by the 11th, as is long-term desire - 9th lord neecha in this house may indicate a lack of moral inhibitions, right? Also, Kalatra Karaka and Saptamadipati, as you have pointed out, placed in inimical house indicate this. Especially, Sukra being in Vrichaka! Once again, Wendy ji, thanks for spending so much time to teach me so much! Maybe, we shoudl analyze more such charts mroe often - any ideas? Maybe, one of us could do the initial analysis, and you could offer corrections! Of course, all this is subject to your approval - and more importantly, your time! ~~~~~~~ Balaji Narasimhan * http://www.sherlock-holmes.com/balaji.htm Author, Sherlock Holmes: Solutions from the Sussex Downs Editor, The Partial Art of Detection ~~~~~~~ ________ DSL – Something to write home about. Guest guest
Dear Balaji, Just a quick note here to give you some encouragement perhaps. Your below comment was not far off the mark... You Wrote: "You have said that your son is not a believer in God's grace, but, think about it, could this not be some form of a turning point for him? I somehow got this feeling because in my own case, it was a motorbike accident (of course, it was not a very serious accident) that turned me religious." The day before the accident David was here complaining about his spouse and saying that he was prepared to leave her and the children (if that's what it took for him to have the freedom he wanted). Apparently he wanted to go alone to a party at a rather wealthy business aquaintence's house... parties widely known for all the wrong reasons! Naturally Lesa put her foot down and told him he wasn't to go. Well that was like a red flag to a bull and he was more determined than ever that she wasn't going to encroach on his freedom. He poured out his woes to me expecting sympathy, but didn't find any...instead he got a lecture on the sacredness of family. He left (on his bike) saying, "Why doesn't anyone ever take my side?" So things were tense between them and this was his mood the next day when he had the accident. So, to get to the point quickly, PD lord Saturn, lord of 2nd house of family, was transiting 8th house of conflict/battle when 3rd lord Saturn threw him off his bike. This has been a cathartic experience for him and he's extremely mellow now when he talks of how important his family is to him. He says the accident has been an eye-opener and he agrees with me that family is his most important consideration. When he saw the Dr. on Saturday, The Dr. couldn't believe how quickly he's recovering...he was really astounded! I told him; "I'm not surprised my son, a lot of prayers have been said for you." So, my heartfelt gratitude to eveyone on the list who offered their prayers and well-wishes. Even just offering them here on the list has an enormous effect...every thought, every wish, finds its way...that's the truth! Just by saying, I offer my prayers, the prayer is offered and will find fulfillment....nothing more than this is needed :-) Best Wishes, Mrs. Wendy http://JyotishVidya.com ______________________________ - "Balaji Narasimhan" <sherlockbalaji <jyotish-vidya> Monday, January 02, 2006 7:27 PM Wendy ji - Regarding David Wendy ji, Many thanks for the excellent analysis! Guest guest
Dear Wendy, Thank you so much for sharing this information as it has shown that good has come from your son's accident (i.e. his realizing the his family is important to him). It is great to hear uplifting accounts such as this one that you have recounted! And it is further good news that your son is recovering quickly! Guest guest
Wendy ji, <<<So, to get to the point quickly, PD lord Saturn, lord of 2nd house of family, was transiting 8th house of conflict/battle when 3rd lord Saturn threw him off his bike. This has been a cathartic experience for him and he's extremely mellow now when he talks of how important his family is to him. He says the accident has been an eye-opener and he agrees with me that family is his most important consideration.>>> As usual, Sani, the harsh task master, is up to his old lessons! :-) Oscar Wilde, in "The picture of Dorian Gray" says that the painter paints his soul - the object being painted is incidental. Applying this to my reading of David's chart - I'm running Sani Antar - lord of the 9th of higher education, placed in the 12th house of enlightenment. Sani himself also rules discovery. Thanks to your corrections on my readings on David, I have experienced all these! <<<When he saw the Dr. on Saturday, The Dr. couldn't believe how quickly he's recovering...he was really astounded! I told him; "I'm not surprised my son, a lot of prayers have been said for you.">>> Good! Seeing that he has realized the importance of family, I also hope that he assimilates the importance of prayer too! <<<Just by saying, I offer my prayers, the prayer is offered and will find fulfillment....nothing more than this is needed :-)>>> You said it, Wendy ji! In fact, I firmly believe that God listens to prayers offered by others on our behalf more than to prayers offered by us for ourselves. In the latter case, there is still some ego, while in the former, we seek blessings for others. Wish David luck, and I hope that he recovers quickly and sees the Right Way soon! ~~~~~~~ Balaji Narasimhan * http://www.sherlock-holmes.com/balaji.htm Author, Sherlock Holmes: Solutions from the Sussex Downs Editor, The Partial Art of Detection ~~~~~~~ ________ DSL – Something to write home about.
