Dear Nilesh and all,

Namaste

Nilesh, thank you for your response :)

To switch the topic somewhat- I read that you moved to the US

during Surya's dasa.

My friend's chart also has 12th lord Surya in the 4th house. And

she has moved to the US from her native country as well. She moved

during Chandra dasa. In her chart Chandra sits in 12th house Simha,

Surya's house. Her birth data is 12/26/1953 1:00AM in Taipei,

Taiwan.

Anyway, it would seem 12th lord in the 4th house certainly can

indicate that the native may make a home in a foreign country.

I checked Parashara has said about 12th in 4th:

"136. If the 12th lord is in the 4th, the native will be devoid of

maternal happiness and will day by day accrue losses in respect of

lands, conveyances, and houses."

You said "the Sun dasa was trying as I sent me to US without much

pay and away from family", this goes with what Parashara has stated,

but other factors in your chart must mitigate Parashara's statement

greatly.

For my friend, however, the effects of 12th lord in the 4th were

felt greatly. As her Mom did not express love for her through out

her life, and was in fact somewhat cruel. Growing up, her home

experienced multiple floods. Later in life, in the US, she

experienced loss of home as her husband kicked her and her son out

of the house and divorced.

I think some of that has to due with not only 12th lord in 4th, but

also Chandra (a karaka of 4th house significations) being in the

12th house w/o any aspect on it, Sukra (another karaka of 4th house

significations) being very weak in the 4th (at 1 degree), a strong

influence of Sani on the 4th (Sani is exalted and associates with

8th lord Mangala). As well as just a pretty severe 2nd house with

exalted Sani and 8th lord Mangala. It was right around the

commencement of Mangala dasa that she was kicked out of her home.

However, through her strong determination and hard work she has

really done quite well and now owns her own home. And she has one

friend who, although she was in a different country and couldn't

offer support in person, helped her out greatly by mailing her a

single check for a large sum of money after she found out about her

being kicked out of her home. It certainly was a severe hardship,

but she feels it was all for the better and her life now is better

than it was prior to going through the hardship.

I think all of that is indicated mostly by the exalted Sani in 2nd

with its aspect on the 4th.

As well as benefic influenes on 3rd house indicating positive use of

self-effort.

Overall, once she started living by herself, she has steadily

progressed materially by hard work & very careful

spending /management of wealth. Certainly that is indicated by

exalted Sani in 2nd.

Take it easy,

Sean
