Guest guest
|| Om Namah Shivaaya || Dear List members, Namaskar, According to Sanjay Rath, for the purposes of calculation of the Hora Lagna (and presumably other special lagnas and upagrahas), Sunrise is to be defined as first light, i.e, the time at which the tip of the sun appears to be on the horizon. [Ref Sanjayji's article on the HL presented at the London conference - http://srath.com/conf/horalagna.pdf] In Jagannatha Hora, however, the default definition of sunrise is "The centre of the Sun's disk is truly on the Eastern horizon"... Could anyone tell me which of these two is recommended? With reverence to the Gurus, Samir
