Dear Vistiji and list members, Namaskar.

Thank you for your guidance.

BPHS 24.12 (English translation) If Lagns

Lord is in Vyaya Bhava and is devoid of benefic Drishti and/or Yuti, the

native will be bereft of physical happiness, will spend unfruitfully and

be given to much anger.

I'm not sure what the external significations of the 12th house

are (am still waiting to get hold of Prasna Marga), but one signification

I remember is 'secret (unknown) enemies'. I think this could be

considered external... In which case despite the other problems mentioned

above, the person would not have any secret enemies to worry

about!

I'm still stuck on the problem of Lagnesh in the 6th house:

BPHS 24.6: If Lagns Lord is in Ari Bhava

and related to a malefic the native will be devoid of physical happiness

and will be troubled by enemies, if there is no benefic Drishti.

As per my understanding, enemies are an external

signification. And therefore it would be logical for the enemies to

suffer - but they don't. Instead the native is troubled by

them. Perhaps the dictum applies only to relatives? Father,

child, spouse etc... I would be grateful for any guidance.

With reverence to the Gurus,

Samir

Dear Samir, Namaskar

No approval needed - you are right in your estimation. Invariably if

Lagna

lord is in the 9th house, the father of the native suffers. This can

result

in bad-luck or even premature demise of the father, provided other

combinations are there (A9, 9th from Sun and Suns placement in

D12).

To help the discussion, please qoute what Maharishi Parasara says

about

Lagnesha in the Vyayabhava.

Dear Mike, Prasna Marga talks about internal and external

significations of

a bhava.

Best wishes,

Visti Larsen
