Dear list members, Namaskar,

Can anyone tell me in which classic I can find the values that define how

close a planet needs to be to the Sun to be combust?

The numbers I have are as follows:

Moon 12 degrees or less from the Sun, Mars 17, Mercury 14, Jupiter 11,

Retrograde Venus 10, Saturn 15.

I don't know what the source for these is unfortunately. But

Jagannatha Hora seems to have different parameters, hence the

query.

Thank you,

With reverence to the Gurus,

Samir

remember that Lattitude is important for combustion, not just longitudes.

Thank you for maintaining the decorum of the

Achyuta Ashram.

Reminders: (1) Recite the Shadakshari Mantra 'Hare

Rama Krishna'

(2) Try to become Vegetarian - remember Akbar the Great

who said that the human stomach should not become a graveyard for animals.

(3) Practise charity in thought and deed - do one
