Guest guest
Pranaam Gurudev There is a small observation and I would like to understand clearly. There are mantras in which we recite "Swaha" at the end of the mantra which in a way this indicate our Samarpan or sacrifice for the god. In Some mantras we add "Namah" which is like Vandan or paying our humble respect to the god. On holistic level it may be similar gesture but does it make any diffrence in vibration of mantra on sooksma level. Like You asked me to recite "Kleem Srivammanya Svaha" how it will be diffrent from "Kleem Srivamanya Namah" Is there any criteria one need to keep in mind? Please put some light on this. Guest guest
color:#FF0080">||Hare Rama Krsna|| Dear Ajay, Namaskar Haven’t you read “Vedic Remedies in Astrology”? The offering makes a big difference and also is indicative of which power we are invoking in the devata. The three main powers are based on the sex; Male, Female, Neuter. Example: Phat is the astra beeja, used at the end of mantras to invoke the weapon of the deity, and is hence masculine in form. Svaaha is feminine and is used to offer straight to the deity, in hope of some benefit. Hence in offerings we use svaaha. This does not mean that the use of svaaha is not used in astra mantras though, but a different energy is indicated, i.e. in the worship of Sri Vishnu, the parampara does not advise the use of phat when worshiping Vishnu with astras, as Sri Vishnu must decide whether or not to strike with his astra (here offering of bow for rama, axe for parasurama, mala for buddha and danda for vamana, etc). Hence we can offer the deity an astra to use by ending the mantra with svaaha. Namah is an obeisance, usually associated with the recognition of the devata as being seated in ones heart. But there is much more to this which should be studied from the Nyasas of the particular deity. Start with reading VRA.
