Planetary significances in D-10. As far as I have seen about modern day significances of planets that directly affect the 10-th house by lordship/occupation/drishti/argala/association etc. and thereby influence choice or field of career, here is a short list. Su - administrative or govt. jobs. Mo - artistic, singing etc., caring, protecting. Ve - entertainment, arts etc. Ma - engineering especially electrical or electronics Me - Media, writing, publishing Ra - research, heavy engineering,diplomat Ke - career abroad (i.e. crossing boundaries), software, subtle subjects Ju - priest, religion, teaching, judges I am sure there are many more such modern-day significances. Can you please let me know where, if any, there is anything published in the form of a comprehensive table ? B. As per your encouragement, I have started learning Prashna sashtra. I am learning directly from Dr. B. V. Raman's Prashna Marga translation. However, can you please tell me how to fix the prashna time if someone asks a question online or via e-mail? I cling to Sanjay’s advise. First it is important that the query is addressed to you, and not just a whole group of people. Secondly, the time you wish to answer the prasna is the time you should choose. Reason is that you will as an astrologer need to get Gods blessing to do the prasna – most people recite a mantra before casting the prasna. I prefer the parampara mantra for this. There are ways to confirm the acuracy of such a prasna using navamsa lagna, and also to rectify it using the Kunda.
