Academic Distinction and GL

Dear List,

 

My youngest sister Sana, secured 3rd position in B.A. 2004-05 in Karachi. She

also got highest marks in two optional subjects, 'fine art' and 'urdu

literature' and has been awarded two gold medals last week in Rah-Mer-Rah. The

chart is attached for members as learning material.

 

A simple crude analysis is presented, as I always prefer to not neglecting basics.

 

Well, If I am not wrong then Sanjay jee's and Narasimha's teachings say, Sun,

5th house/lord and Gari Lagna (GL) should be considered in determining

award/distinction/honour etc. Here (in her chart), karaka Sun is conjoined with

5th lord Mercury in Aq lagna, while their rashi dispositor Saturn is exalting in

9th-Libra and Aq co-lord Rahu is well placed in 4th-Taurus in amsa of Mercury.

So the Rah-Mer-Rah seems logical.

 

>From Jaimini's viewpoint, mantrapad (A5) falls in 5th from AL and conjoined AmK

(Saturn) and AK (Mars). Whereas lord of GL Jupiter casts full rashi drishti to

GL from its own sign Sagittarius. And it is not amazing that Sg-Li-Pi is

running at the time of getting position. This can easily explain even without

going into detailed varga. In rashi, GL is into Pi, GL's lord Jupiter is in Sg

while Li is the 5th house from AL, contain A5 along with AK and AmK.
