I use my basic knowledge in astrology to do vastu. I am writing this mail as I need your help to analysis a horoscope of my friend .Her husband has been having major health problems due to which she is under lot of mental stress and shall be highly obliged if you could please analysis these two horoscope of both husband and wife in totality and oblige. Just looking at the husbands chart, I would guess, that sixth lord Mars in the fifth house may be afflicting the stomach region. He is also ruler of the 64th Navamsa, so during his dasa there may have been diffuculty with regards to this. Now he is running Rahu dasa, Saturn antardasa, and these planets affect the twelfth house in Navamsa, indicating that he may have to be visiting hospitals and clinics for serious troubles. Both these planets aspect the 12th house in rasi also. It is noticeable that AL and UL are together indicating how close the wife is to the native. I hope this helps. Your readings to a great extent correct in the sense that he was operated for an intestinal problem and was been hospitalisedlast year for the same but at present he is also undergoing treatment for depression and has been agrivated to an extent that the whole family is on the verge of collapse. Reviewing your friends chart, a couple of things were there. The Sun is aspected by Saturn and Rahu in the Lagna, constituting a curse of the Father. Sun is also Pitrikaraka, and is being replaced by Moon. Both Saturn and Rahu rule the 10th house indicating that the shock and sorrow will result from work related matters. Though due to Lagna lord and Atmakaraka Venus not being involved the ill effects are greatly lessened. Also a Vargottama Moon resides in the 10th house aspected by exalted Jupiter, showing her ability to overcome the problems and work. However this Jupiter is in Marana karaka sthana, and can bring major suffering to the signs it rules, and here it favours Sagitarius over Pisces as it is placed in an even sign sign and will favour the odd sign it rules. Sagitarius is the 8th house, so it could mean that the significations of the 8th house will be destroyed, however I am not fully clear about this. In any case, she should take the name of Rama, as this planet (Sun) is afflicted in the lagna, and it is also Ishta devata. This will aleviate suffering and aid her in spirituality, which is ultimately the only thing that can really help. I hope this helps, and that if there are any errors that they may be corrected. If one wanted to put an alter somewhere in the house, where should the deity be facing to attract maximum amount of benefic energy according to Vastu? What are the guidelines like these that are auspicious for entrances to house etc. Any help with these queries would be a great contribution to a practical application of this rich science.
