So, Rahu is out in the first place and comes to replace the AmK. i've not read the chart yet. July 13 2005, 15:50:47, Cape Canaveral, Florida, are the coordinates listed for the flight on 'Spaceflight Now'. Certainly the replaced charakaraka is a concern, but it is only a first indication. Do further indications also point to disaster? The replacement Atmakaraka and also Rahu aspect the Sun, affirming the danger. On the other hand Moon and Jupiter also aspect, and in Navamsa are conjoined Sun in the first house. Venus is also conjoined Rahu in Navamsa, which may be able to avert any tragedy. Perhaps Mars and Rahu in the third from AL portray an image of the danger of this short journey into space. Yet their position in the 6th house from Lagna is perhaps a safe one. For further study of Muhurta and air travel: Erebus disaster, Flight 901, a tourist flight carrying over 100 passengers flew straight into a mountain in Antarctica. The take-off details are as follows: November 28, 1979, 8:20am, Christchurch, New Zealand, Lg17sg53. Here there is no charakaraka replacement, but Mars is conjoined Rahu, and is in an exchange with the Sun, causing the evil eclipse factor.
