Upapada lagna location in chart - simple rule

How are you doing - we met at SJC London last year. I am eagerly awaiting

your book - ive heard nice things from everyone - well done.

 

I would like to ask you a question re your simple thumb rule....

I have Mo, Ra UL in Taurus in 4th - would it be fair to assume that this has

brought a curse regarding relationship with mother. I cant really see this

as we have a good relationship - almost Karmic if you ask me, as we are

very close. Would this rule be overrided by the fact that both Moon and

Rahu are exalted??
