Guest guest
Dear members, This line of thinking appears well founded. In one's own chart (11th June, 1972; 10:17 AM; Cuttack, Orissa), the AK is in the 10th House as the Lagna Lord and is placed with 6th and 7th Lord Shani and 12th Lord exalted Chandra. The initial teachings were of comparative mythology from a dead teacher called Joseph Campbell. It began to transform my life. The dispositor of the AK Sun is the 11th Lord, placed in the 11th with Venus and Mars. There are heavy cross-cultural and Internet and actual literature based teachings. All this is aspected by the Vakri Guru from Dhanu in the 5th with Graha and Rashi Drishti. Regards. Anurag Sharma. , "Visti Larsen" <visti@s...> wrote: > ||Hare Rama Krsna|| > > Dear Ajay and Sameer, Namaskar > > The nature of the planet in the eleventh house will show the approach one > has. Guest guest
|| Hare Rama Krishna || Dear Sharma-ji, Namaskar. My comments about AK/Combustion/Marriage as per your chart is written as below. You are a very good astrologer yourself. Perhaps you will know better. Sun is the giver of everything. If Sun is atmakaraka, pride (being the giver of everything) is what the native need to be cautious about. Sun is also Lagnesha and in the throne (10H) hence this is perhaps the most important lesson in Sun AK native. How to do it ? by identifying with the fact that one is a part of everything else. Hence, truely there is no giving or taking, truely speaking. Grahas combust with Sun shows areas of life deprived so that lessons are taught. Sun being AK there could be pride in relation to those planets associating with the Sun. Close combustion enhances that effect. Sun being in Bhrastaamsa in D-60 increases this effect as Bhrashta means that in past life the native has not been able to learn this lesson and hence must to this in this life or next life. Now permit me to come to the question of your being single as yet. Cons: UL in 8H - difficulties in marriage. Sa is 11L with Sun (arch enemy) but the conjuction is not close (9 deg). Sa is afflicted by 12L and dire malefic Mo. Ve, karaka of marriage is with Ma giving a good DKY but also at the same time Ma is badhakesha, indicating delay if not denia. Ve is afflicted by aspect of 8L Ju Ve is debilitated by presence of Me in its own house. Ve is dispositor of 7L and conjoins A8. Pros: UL-lord Ju is in strength and is aspected by Ve (karaka for marriage) and dharmadhipati Ma which is significant. 2nd from UL is 9H and its lord is aspecting UL. 7th Lord in Navamsa is aspecting own house from Lagna. Exalted Ju is aspecting 7H. But Ju is in maranakaraka sthana. In Navamsa, Ve is Lagnesha and is aspected by yogakaraka and Rasi 7L, Saturn. Sa conjoins UL in Navamsa. I think, there are marked difficulties in getting married (likely due to Natives own views about that) but definitely there is a possibility for marriage. Sa usually gives late marriage. I haven't had a chance to look into the dasas yet. Guest guest
|| Hare Räma Kåñëa || Dear Sourav, Namaskar What range do you/Narasimhaji use for the combustion of Saturn? I thought is was 15 degrees (taking into account latitude also of course) - but Jagannatha Hora doesn't think Saturn is combust in this case (I get a separation of around 10 degrees when taking latitude into account also). Another thing that may be relevant here is that the Amavasya dosha is compounded by a Matri Shaapa. Rahu and Saturn lord the 7th house so there will no doubt be shock/sorrow coming from there. Warm regards, Samir At 18:22 09/09/2005, you wrote: || Hare Rama Krishna || Dear Sharma-ji, Namaskar. Guest guest
Dear Saurav, Thank you for your learned views. I think they explore the features quite well. Why do you say that Shani is the 11th Lord? From the UL? I agree with your statements about Surya and perhaps there has been some advancement or there might be possibilities in understanding the tru nature of being with Ketu in the 12th from Karakamsha and in the 12th in Rashi. With Lord of UL in the 5th from Lagna and UL being in the 8th; Shani being in the 2nd House in UL in Navamsha and the 2nd Lord Budh being in the 7th, do you think there could be a Karmic bond (retrograde Jupiter in Sagittarius) in matters of affection (5th House) in marriage and that this could involve someone already married earlier with the involvement of the 2nd and 8th Houses in Rashi and Navamsha Chakra? About Guru's Maran Karaka Sthana in Navamsha, unless I am mistaken, Sanjay Ji stated that MKS placements of Grahas are to be seen in Rashi with the Karakas seen in the Varga charts: for example in Navamsha, Venus's MKS would be significant, in Dashamsha, Mercury's MKS would be significant. If I am in error I stand to be corrected from this. Also would you think that the relative strength of the UL Lord in Rashi and Navamsha would mean that the spouse might be of a higher status, also in view of the Gajkesari Yoga in the 3rd Bhava in Navamsha? I am in Guru-Shukra now with Kanya Narayan Dasha, 7th from the UL. Guru would aspect the 2nd from the UL by Rashi Drishti after the autumn of 2006, so perhaps that might be a possible time for this bewildering event to come around? I think that the difficulties in this event fructifying are due to the Punarbhu Yoga brought to light by Mu'min Bey on the Vedic Astrology list which Sanjay Ji affirmed where if Shani and Moon are related, and one of them has something to do with the 7th House, one of the partners gets cold feet about marriage even though everything else may be completely in order. Of course Shani-Chandra is a suo- moto Rajayoga in the 4th, 10th and 11th Houses, indicating some delayed fructification of cherished desires, after pressures. Many thanks and I look forward to your view on the areas mentioned. Anurag Sharma. , "Sourav Chowdhury" <souravc108> wrote: > || Hare Rama Krishna || > > Dear Sharma-ji, > Namaskar. Guest guest
|| Hare Rama Krishna || Dear Samir, Namaskar. I am not sure what is programmed in JHora. I consider 3 deg. to be close combustion and can severely affect the planet's significances. Otherwise, the planet's significance is lessened but not completely annuled. Remember that planets in their direct motion when approaching Su are Combust. Only exception is Venus. I will ask Narasimha-ji about the degrees. Guest guest
Jhora takes longitude and lattitude. It should be done like that in combustion matters.. Regards Rafal Gendarz - "Sourav Chowdhury" <souravc108 <> Saturday, September 10, 2005 4:25 PM [Om Krishna Guru] Re: Learning Jyotish to Guru Visti Larsen || Hare Rama Krishna || Dear Samir, Namaskar. Guest guest
|| Hare Rama Krishna || Dear Sharma-ji, namaskar. My comments below. Best Wishes, Sourav ==================================================================== , "anuraagsharma27" <anuraagsharma27@h...> wrote: > Dear Saurav, > > Thank you for your learned views. I think they explore the features > quite well. Why do you say that Shani is the 11th Lord? From the UL? [sourav]: It was a typo. I was thinking about the 11H, that is why. I meant Sa as 7L. > I agree with your statements about Surya and perhaps there has been > some advancement or there might be possibilities in understanding the > tru nature of being with Ketu in the 12th from Karakamsha and in the > 12th in Rashi. > > With Lord of UL in the 5th from Lagna and UL being in the 8th; Shani > being in the 2nd House in UL in Navamsha and the 2nd Lord Budh being > in the 7th, do you think there could be a Karmic bond (retrograde > Jupiter in Sagittarius) in matters of affection (5th House) in > marriage and that this could involve someone already married earlier > with the involvement of the 2nd and 8th Houses in Rashi and Navamsha > Chakra? [sourav]: Because you are born, you have karma. All the planets stand as witnesses to that. Therefore we should not single out a planet for seeing karmic bond. For example, take the 5H. All planets are affecting 5H (hence give contributions of astakavarga points to the house) and hence are involved in showing the totality of karma fructified through that house. Retrograde planets show a state of 'immediacy' meaning that they have a lot more momentum to produce results in this present life. Ju is 5L in 5H and retrograde showing heightened emotions (above normal). > About Guru's Maran Karaka Sthana in Navamsha, unless I am mistaken, > Sanjay Ji stated that MKS placements of Grahas are to be seen in > Rashi with the Karakas seen in the Varga charts: for example in > Navamsha, Venus's MKS would be significant, in Dashamsha, Mercury's > MKS would be significant. If I am in error I stand to be corrected > from this. [sourav]: Yes, it may be supported by Sanjay-ji. However, as per SJC tradition I am also taught to treat divisional charts as stand-alone charts and hence consider MKS for all grahas in a given chart. My logic for that is that since all grahas are players in a given chart all of them are important. Karaka being in MKS in its divisional chart makes it weaker. Jupiter stands for dharma and marraige is also a part of (not the whole of) dharma. Hence blessings of the 9L is very crucial in marriage and its sustenance. > Also would you think that the relative strength of the UL Lord in > Rashi and Navamsha would mean that the spouse might be of a higher > status, also in view of the Gajkesari Yoga in the 3rd Bhava in > Navamsha? [sourav]: Sun represents status. In Navamsa, Su is 11th from ULL and 7H, 10th from Karaka (Ve)and second from dara-pada (A7) is good and may indicate someone from a good family. 7L in the Lagna can make a native beget a famous spouse. Gajakesari yoga conjoins AL and HL which is good for all relations, per se. However, be reminded that the yoga is formed by 8L and 12L in the Rasi chart. Rasi chart gives the true agenda of the planets. 3H in Navamsa is house of effort you put(in the field of relationships). The could be some deficiency in that area. > I am in Guru-Shukra now with Kanya Narayan Dasha, 7th from the UL. > Guru would aspect the 2nd from the UL by Rashi Drishti after the > autumn of 2006, so perhaps that might be a possible time for this > bewildering event to come around? [sourav]: Virgo Narayana dasa is a possibility, not because it is 7th from UL but because it is in the 2nd house of family. Marriage entails family hence this dasa can give help in establishing family. > > I think that the difficulties in this event fructifying are due to > the Punarbhu Yoga brought to light by Mu'min Bey on the Vedic > Astrology list which Sanjay Ji affirmed where if Shani and Moon are > related, and one of them has something to do with the 7th House, one > of the partners gets cold feet about marriage even though everything > else may be completely in order. Of course Shani-Chandra is a suo- > moto Rajayoga in the 4th, 10th and 11th Houses, indicating some > delayed fructification of cherished desires, after pressures. [sourav]: Punarbhu yoga as you mentioned is a possibility. Sanichandra yoga is a difficult yoga as far as understanding is concerned especially as it affects the mind. Su and Sa are naisargika satru's and hence there is a repulsion between them. Sun is lagnesa and Sa is the lord of the dara-bhava and Mo is placed between them (Sun - 26 deg, Mo - 22 deg, Sa - 17 deg) and hence is under a kartari. Oscillations of the mind is automatic. Sa is PiK and Mo is MK with Su and Lagnesha and AK, hence pressures from parents is likely. > Many thanks and I look forward to your view on the areas mentioned. > > Anurag Sharma. , "Sourav Chowdhury" > <souravc108> wrote: > > || Hare Rama Krishna || > > > > Dear Sharma-ji, > > Namaskar. Guest guest
Dear Sourav, Thank you once again. About the exaltation of the UL Lord in the Rashi/ Navamsha, I was given to understand that it was a dictum for predicting a higher status for the family of the spouse. Of course, the analysis with Surya shows much the same thing. It is illuminating to have your views on the chart and brings in objectivity, which is not always the case when one is looking at one's own chart. Thank you.
