Given below are the birth details of a 34year old female, who would like to know

which day she should fast for alleviating a host of problems she is facing

(estranged spouse, unsympathetic in-laws, trapped in an unhappy marriage,

trouble raising 3 kids singly and uncertain or poor finances). Presently she is

fasting on Mondays, but that does not seem to help her cause.

I fully agree with you on the following suggestion you made to her.

Since there can be may perspective to see a problem so take my

intervention just as my curiosity to understand the "Sokshma"

and "Vistirna" nature of divine play. I am helpless to suppress my

doubts. To see what is causing the problem...

 

Once you said, If an Upapada is somehow involved in a curse, then the

person will see suffering in that relationship." In her chart UL has

an aspect from three malefics Rahu, Mars and Saturn. I do not know

whether it will be called a curse but it is a curse like situation on

UL. Mars is also aspecting 2nd from UL. And when Mars aspects or

joins the second from Upapada, it means that one of the problems in

the marriage is aggressive behavior, alcoholism (negative mars) and

fights. In the Chart Mars is the AK so it will bring some deep-rooted

experience to the soul in regards to relationship.

 

My observation is AK is involved in the whole game, so Ista deveta

will come to rescue. Her Ista deveta is represented by Sun, which

means lord Shiva. Mars also desposited by Sun in Navamsa. Sun is also

the lord of second from UL so fasting on Sunday's can also help her.

If we see Sun position from lord of 7th it is placed in 12th from

Venus (DK also). And for Libra sign sun being badhekesh and placed

12th from there should remove all obstacles.

 

So my submission is she can also try worship of Shiva and fasting on

Sunday's for better result.

 

Please guide me on this.

benefiting you? She should not fast on Sundays, only Mondays as i’ve

advised, and then worship Shiva as you have advised. Which mantra?

Thanks for taking interest and advising me on this case. Vistiji, you have

suggested that she do, 'a Nirjala fast on Mondays'. How exactly does one

undertake this fast ?

Does the native actually have to be fasting without water for a 24hr duration

i.e from Midnight Sunday to Midnight Monday OR simply from Sunsrise to Sunset

on Monday is enough.

 

The reason I ask this is that when I recommend it to some body, I also must be

confident that the opposite person is in a practical position to undertake such

type of penance.Also Vistiji, a simple mantra in addition to all what you have

said will be very useful.

Got the point. As far as mantra is concerned I am not an expert. I still have to

go far to understand to intricacies of it. But I must try.

First, In "Aditya hridya" lord Krishna teaches that Surya Devta -Aditya should

be worshipped every day in the morning with Beejakshara "Ghrini". Surya is akin

to Shiva in this worship and in this form has three eyes, four arms etc. Shiva

is the Supreme guru. This is jupiterian form of Sun. Also Shiva is represented

by sign Cancer and jupiter get exalted in it. The native has Jupiter in the

lagna is like Shiva residing in lagna and protecting dharma.

She can recite " Om Ghrini PushAaditya namah"

Alternatively, She can also recite Panchakshari mantra "NamahShivaya"

Please comment on the above and guide.
