Guest guest
color:#FF0080">||Hare Rama Krsna|| Dear Ajay and Nandkumar, Namaskar Just like Phala Deepika and a few other classics, Sarvartha Chintamani and Jataka Parijata describe many significations of the ninth house very loosely. The main point about the ninth house, as far as the questions asked are concerned, is that it rules dharma. So when Sri Krishna states; “when dharma falls then women are corrupted”, he is stating two things. 1) the literal meaning, i.e. womens chastity is ruined when dharma is low. 2) marriage is delayed when dharma is low. Now we have a few dictums for this; When malefics like Saturn or Rahu are in the ninth house, then marriage can be delayed. This requires remedies such as wearing gemstones or such. Also a specific yoga for adultery is formed when other combinations are in the ninth house. You can read this from Sarvartha Chintamani as well. The above has only dealt with inherited dharma, i.e. bhagya, but doesn’t deal with the nature of our own dharma. The ‘own dharma’ becomes relevant in the matters of ‘injuries on mankind’. Here Jataka Parijata states that the dharma must be seen from the shastyamsa of the ninth lord. Sanjayji has illustrated this in the past, through Hitler’s chart, where ninth lord was in Bhrasta Shastyamsa, causing his dharma to be of a very destructive kind. This also becomes relevant to see for canibalism (fellow-eaters) obviously, but i have no experience of this, nor charts of the same. Keep in mind when reading classics with the depth of Sarvartha Chintamani or Jataka Parijata, that the author will be very free in giving the various significations of the ninth house, and one should remember the context when applying the principles and yogas. Guest guest
||Hare Rama Krsna|| Dear Nandkumar, Even though Gurudev has clarified regarding the relation between "the fall of dharma with corruption of women" but still if you want to read the detail version of this then read the article "Dharma is the foundation of marriage"by Maha Guru Sanjay ji at the following link http://srath.com/lectures/marriage.htm Pranaam Regards Ajay Zharotiaajayzharotia - Nandkumar Chinai Friday, October 28, 2005 3:49 PM Re: [Om Krishna Guru] Re: Cintamani houses Ajay, Thanks for your note.
