Dear Sh. Visti,

Thanks for your kind reply. If you pardon me for my ignorence, then a few more

doubts are as below basically for my learning purpose. I am contuining the

discussion with refernce to my recent mail.

You said :

My experience tells that the two upapadas in case of an arranged marriage will

be in kendra to each other.

Mr. Dhir Krishan dasa added the trinal position also.

I want to know, whether the mutual position of upapadas in the boy and Girl's

chart should only be seen or their lord (Upapada Lord) also have a say in the

matter of marriage.

There could be many cases where the Upapada could be in mutual Kendras but its

lord could be placed in various mutual positions, even it could be in 6/8 or

2/12. Similarly, the mutual upapadas could be in mutual 6/8 but its lord may be

in mutual kendras.

Looking to this fact, may we re-affirm our ruling on the mutual placement of Upapadas.

------

I take up the chart of the girl, which has been screened by you for marriage timing.

I have a few clarifications in refernce to what you said :

This girl is on her first upapada.

You are right but I could not understood, how you ascertained it.

If the marriage was the second one (hypothetically) then how would you have detected it ?

It will be an arranged marriage, due to the aspects of eighth lords on the upapada.

In this case, the Saturn is 7th and 8th lord. Would it mean that 7th lord

aspecting Upapada assures the marriage and 8th lord aspecting makes it

arranged.

If the Saturn as 7-8th lord had been placed in Upapada, then would these

inferences get modified or remain same ?

Kindly indicate the rationale, how 8th lord aspecting Upapada makes it an

arranged marriage.

Just to complete this point, which lord's influence on Upapada makes it a love marriage ?

The current time is looking very strong for marriage, and i believe she could

finalize very soon, i.e. within the next year, based on the dasas.

I am trying to attempt the dasha reading. In narayan dasha, Libra-Aries is

presently running till 18-8-2006 and thereafter Pisces bhukti runs till

June-2007.

Libra as the sign of Upapada seems to be OK for marriage.

Aries bhukti is in 7th to Upapada and has the aspect of DK-Sun, but has Darapada in 12th to it.

Pisces bhukti falls in 6th to the dasha sign-Libra and DK-Sun falls in 6th to it.

Would it point the marriage to be probable in Aries bhukti than Pisces, kindly

tell me the pros & cons of both periods.

The transit of Jupiter into Scorpio after next summer should be planned as the marriage time.

Kindly tell me what is the rationale of Jupiter's aspect to the 2nd sign of Upapada for marriage.

Can't Jupiter transiting in Upapada itself or aspecting Upapada or casting

argala to Upapada in transit confer marriage ?

Advise the girl to fast on Fridays and perform Rudrabhisheka to bring the marriage quicker.

OK. Can Rudrabhishek be understood as offering water to Shivlinga ? Can some

mantra be advised to chant from the consideration of the chart while offering

water to Lord Shiva for removing any obstructions in marriage ?

Thanks in advance for your effort and time.

Respectfully,

Vijay Kumar

Dear Sh. Visti,

I have my heartfelt thanks to you for being so patient to reply me. I have learnt a lot.

I have a small clarification on the following :

Sir, at the place where girl stays, she has a Shiva temple almost in front of

the house where there is a Shivalinga. Now, I do not know whether there is a

formal Rudrabhishek done there by the priest. If not, or not very regularly

done by the priest there, then would it be possible that the girl offers a pot

of water on the linga herself everyday.

If you permit this, then :

Which day/nakshatra should it be started

How many times this mantra be recited while offering water.

How many days should this be done.

Should the water be plain or mixed with milk, sugar etc.

Thanks and Regards,

Respectfully,

Vijay Kumar
