Guest guest
Dear Learned Members, Namaste, Please let me know if transits are applicable and practical in Vargas also. E.g. Lord Shani is presently transiting Karka Rashi. Would it make sense to assume that He is transiting the same Rashi in the Vargas, e.g. transiting D-9 lagna if Navamsha lagna is Karka etc.? Many thanks for your attention and time, Gilbert. P.S. I have studied PVR Ji's method regarding this, which I beleive uses a specific event at a specific time and constructing vargas for that etc. But what about general transits, like Shani through Karka is what I am wondering about. Guest guest
||Hare Rama Krsna|| Dear Gilbert, Namaskar Yes it is applicable, and Sanjayji taught a detailed lecture on this in Delhi this year. Basically there are two methods: 1) Rashi gochara, with reference to the vargas (this is what you mentioned) 2) Varga gochara (exact degree and the equivalent divisional chart-transit). Rashi gochara is extremely useful and I personally use this as a primary approach. Here is an example for timing marriage: Jupiters rasi sign should be in trines/seventh from the rasi or navamsa of the seventh lord. Example: If seventh lord is Venus and Venus is in the navamsa of Libra, then when Jupiter transits the rasi of libra or its trines, then marriage is possible. Guest guest
Dear Visti Ji, Namaste and many thanks for your notes, Please consider the following related notes also; - When Guru is transiting or aspecting 7H, in Rashi or Navamsha, or is transiting over 7L in Navamsha, would these also be indicative of marriage? - Can we judge marriage by just considering Rashi Narayan Dasha is something else I am wondering about or trying to figure out. I was thinking; If taking dasha rashi as lagna, there is strong relt. with progressed lagna and 7th. from it, or if prog.lagna or 7H is associated with UL, or if 7H is strong in itself, then marriage is possible, but I am not sure whether this theory is correct or not? Many thanks, respectfully, Gilbert. , "Visti Larsen" <visti wrote: > > ||Hare Rama Krsna|| > Dear Gilbert, Namaskar > Yes it is applicable, and Sanjayji taught a detailed lecture on this in > Delhi this year. Guest guest
||Hare Rama Krsna|| Dear Gilbert, Namaskar - This first dictum is given by Sanjayji in Crux of Vedic Astrology. Apparently this works. - Sanjayji has also talked about marriage using Narayana dasa - this is all in his book: Narayana dasa. Specifically the dasa rasi should be associated with either of Upapada, Shukra or Ketu. But this does not guarantee marriage, but one will surely be associated with marriage events/relationships during this time. The final determinor is done from the dasapravesha chakra, or alternatively naisargika dasa (very apt for marriage timing).
