Guest guest
Dear Visti Ji, Dear Rafal Ji, Dear Learned Friends, Please correct my understanding regarding the following points on Prashna; When I myself cast a Prashna chart regarding whether a lady that I know (a friend) will get married or not, Is lagna showing myself (or the querent if the question was brought to me by someone), or the question itself. If the lagna is heavily afflicted does this mean the answer is no? Which additional house should we consider, e.g. 7th. for marriage, or 7th. from 11th. for a friends marriage? And considering that house, e.g. if the lord of the house is posited in 8th. house which is a Dusthaana from lagna, but 2nd. house lets's say from 7th. house (if we are analysing 7th. house) then is this lord well placed (from 7th. house itself) or badly placed (being in dusthaana from lagna?). I see in literature there are mixed views on these, please enlighten me with your experience. Many thanks, Respectively, Gilbert.

[Rafal] Lagna is querrient , twelfth house is astrologer, in Vivaha-prasna Lagna is life of bride. Question is seen from house occupied by Arudha Lagna. > > If the lagna is heavily afflicted does this mean the answer is no? [Rafal] Its part of it, Sirshodaya sign are better for good results. Benefics in Lagna also adds to sincerity of question. > Which additional house should we consider, e.g. 7th. for marriage, > or 7th. from 11th. for a friends marriage? [Rafal] From Lagna study the character of bride, if has influence of Moon/Surya the mother/father will be present. Afflicted moon is bad and gives obstruction. See the sixth house for quarrels and diseases. Nimittas are also important in time of prasna. Seventh lord and Venus in Upachaya is good (here I would not recommend venus in sixth). Even signs of Chandra and Venus is conductive for early marriage. This also is for Lagna's of Dreshkan and Navamsa. Benefics in Kendra and Airy Lagna's are also conductive for early marriage. Its not good to have malefics in first, seventh and eight houses from Prasna lagna. Malefic influence in fifth will give problems with children. Seventh lord placement is for status of spouse family. Trimsamsa can also be viewed. from stronger of LL or AL L is place of bride. > I see in literature there are mixed views on these, please enlighten > me with your experience. > > Many thanks, > Respectively, Gilbert. >
