Understanding the curse

Dear Members,

I am a beginner in astrology. I have recently started taking great

interest in astrology, and have been mainly learning from online

material. Perhaps, I would like to get some formal learning in near

future. Till then, the material available has been very usefu, to

atleast understand the basics. I was listening to the curse mp3 of

Shri Sanjay Rath. It was a very well explained lecture. As most

new comers in astrology do,when they learn something new, I also

applied my new learnt knowledge in my chart, and I found that i also

have curse.

The points that I could understand were, that I have a Brahmin

curse, as my Jupiter in 10th house (Leo) is involed. Its in

conjunction with Rahu, Saturn ®, and Mars and aspected by Ketu in

fourth house in Aquarius.

As I understand Saturn ® means that the curse cannot be reduced by

remedies, and I will have to suffer through the consequeces. Rahu

involved means there can be a shock/cheating element, at the same

time it being my AK would mean that the involvement would be great.

My eighth house lord Mercury is not involved in this main cusre, so

I am assuming the suffering would not be that harsh.( correct me on

this) I am still not very clear in checking out dasa's and how to

see when the curse would materialize ( or when would its time

period be).

If some of the learned members could help me further in analyzing

and understanding this, it would be great,

with best regards,

Neelay.

For reference, my birth details are as follow.

Dear Michal,

First of all thanks for taking your time to answer my query. You

have said that 4th house, will be the house of concern. If I am not

wrong fourth house signifies, mother, properties and education. So,

it can impact any of these areas.

Another house you have said of concern is the 10th house, the house

of career.Yes, I am facing problem in that area. I am at the fag end

of my engineering education, but I am least interested in work

opportunities. I am also working part time currently, not having the

greatest fun there too.

This is where i find the beauty of astrology, it intrigues and

fascinates me greatly. When you mentioned to check the mool dasa,

and that saturn would be the dasa of the fructifcation of curse. I

see that Saturn dasa started in may 2005. Believe it or not, thats

when i have started losing interest in career related activities.

As you have said to suffer through it through a strong mind and

resolve, I will do my best to do that. However, can you guide me,

with this ; the Saturn dasa lasts till 2018

so does that mean the curse will be in effect till 2018. What is the

best way to reduce the effects of the curse if not eliminate it, and

how adversely can it have an impact on my career without really

having begun my career yet.

Thanks for all your input.

with best regards,

neelay

guess the curse can manifest itself in any one of the areas

signifyed by those houses. Saturn is retrograde and in an enemies

sign. Rahu is ill placed also. Mars has dig bala, is in

parivartana with Sun (who is conjoined 8th lord) and is a friend of

Jupiter, so is least likely to give the negative results. This

brings the focus to the fourth house. Another important point to

note is that Jupiter is in a friendly sign and in a kendra, showing

that the intention and knowledge that caused the curse was not

inherently bad. The Mula dasa of Saturn began last year so it is a

ripe time to "suffer the curse with a strong mind and be resolved to

patiently wait out the period and dutifully do out Karma". Also the

Dear Michal,

Thanks for all your input, and the mantras. Yes, life is mixed

bag, and thats what makes it beautiful. Astrology, is truly amazing,

hopefully I will keep learning and be able to understand it better.

Thanks and with best regards,

there will be worse times and better times. The fact that Jupiter

is so strong, and you are learning about yourself must indicate that

you will overcome the trials you must face. As far as remedies are

concerned, I believe the selection of a Jyotirlinga mantra for the

afflicted planet can help in further strengthening the planet and

thus alleviating the suffering. The mantra for Jupiter is: Om Namah

Shivaya Namah Omkareshwaraya. Also the lord of the 10th is exalted

so the mantra for Sun may also be effective: Om Namah Shivaya Namah

Rameshwaraya. The chanting of these mantras will certainly help.

Dear Michal,

Thanks for explaining further, and giving information about the

mantras. Yes, you are right life is a mixed bag of suffering and joy

and thats what makes it beautiful.

I am really getting very attracted to astrology day-by-day.

Hopefully, sometime in near future I can learn it more in-depth, and

can do the wonderful service of sharing as the all the learned

members are doing here.

Thanks again for guiding me,

best regards,

neelay.

PS: I am posting again as some of the mails are not getting posted.

My previous post seems to have been disillusioned and lost in the

cyberworld:-)
