Hi,

There is not many hard and fast rules for the donation, at least to me. I have

donated (and donate) manythings on different times with almost same result. But,

some tips can be used for best result.

> Use the weekday of that planet of which gem you are donating.

> Try those "planet-typed" people for donating. Like, donate panna to an orphan

or to a stammer or a poor student, donate pukhraj to a Brahmin, cats eye to a

saint or a serious religious practicer etc...

> It is said that donation of jupiter, mercury, ketu can be made at morning,

noon and evening respectively.

> You can also use the Hora of those planets to donate.

> Be pure in body and mind.

> Use right hand. (Any good or positive work should be done by right hand. Some

says donation with left hand will not help that much as left hand indicates

"leaving" not the sense of "sacrificing".)

> Make sure that the gem is flawless and good, as you would to use it for

yourself.

Best wishes,

Tanvir
