Dear Venusgaal,

Parashara states that D-60 is the most imp chart, but most of the times D-9 is

taken as the most imp chart after the rashi chart. Parasara states that spouse

has to be seen from D-9, and it also shows dharma and related matters.

 

I am almost never into D charts for some reasons. First, many of the cases the

birth time is not accurate to consider d charts. and second, short time. When I

really look at D charts then I generally see the placement of planets and

conjunctions etc. Like an exalted planet in rashi can lose most of it's strength

if it is debilitated in d-9 etc.

 

But this you can take very sure that the most important matters include position

of planets like exaltation, in fall and conjunction. A great importance is also

given to karakamsa, ie the sign in the d-9 chart where the atmakaraka planet is.

Jaimini gives a lot of formulas based on this.

 

You can also consider the lagna in d-9 but then you have to use the very

accurate time of birth since the lagna in d-9 chart changes in every 13 mins or

so.

reading navamsa

 

 

Dear Members,

 

Can anyone tell me how to read the navamsa charts?atleast the most

impt thing to be considered.

I want to know whats the proper method of reading a navamsa chart.How

do the Laganamsa,dhanamsa and other amsas effect in co relation to

the rasi chart.Its said that lagna of the d chart along with the moon

lagna and karaka of the relevant d chart should be well placed.How

would we synethesise all these things with relevance to the dchart.Is

it true that we should not consider the planetary aspects in the d

charts?
