Guest guest
Dear Tanveer, Correct time of birth is the absolute base for all astro calculations & predictions. For several years I am trying to find views of doctors, leading astrologers & articles in leading journals. I find there are differences of opinion. Whatever the doctor or hospital says, it is generally recorded by parents. Since I have found different views, so during my astro readings, I always keep in mind this possible margin of error and therefore manytimmes I have been able to arrive at astrologically correct birth time. (especially in border line lagna cases) Since I want views/feedback from other astrologers so I am not telling you the majority view at present but I will tell you aftersometime. I have found that many astro predictions & remedies fail only due to this error. By the way your, interpretation does not match with the leading authorites' view. There are 3 types of Birth times; 1. Actual physical Birth time 2. Time recorded & given by doctors/hospital 3. Astrologically correct birth time In all the 3 cases, there is doubt which moment is to be taken as the birth moment in minutes & seconds? I will put more light in next issues of JR. Then we would like to reach to some widely acceptable coclusion. I will then like to find ways to rectify birth time errors. There are several methods. Guest guest
Dear Varshney Jee, Thanks for the nice post. Any constructive thoughts would be appreciated by me and as well as other members :-) Regarding three kind of birth times, of course I would like to go with the 3rd option - ie astrologically rectified birth time. Why do not we do something personally. If we get chance, we should record all moments of 1) Coming out, 2) Starting to cry 3) Cutting navel of a baby and then see what time matches exactly to the rectified time! Then we would surely be able to reach a possible conclusion. Personally I am not good into birth tme rectification and your or other members discussion are welcome. Please keep us the good discussion :-) Regards, Tanvir What can not happen, can never happen. Which is mine, is forever mine. Guest guest
Dear Mr. Varshney, This issue is really confusing. I'm the case of this confusion. My recorded birth time is 01:00 am and according to that My Lagna is Leo with Zero Degree and 3 Min. Now many astrologer said that it is to be considered as Cancer. But I logically believe that thought it is only 3 Min. but Cancer is fully over so it should be considered as Leo only. Another point is that my mother says that it is above 01:00am may be 01:05am. If it is later than 01:00am then I'm surely Leo otherwise confusion. In boundries of my knowledge I used to believe that my personality matches more with Leo instead of Cancer but I'm not sure. Can u (or any other member) suggest any method using that I can derive my correct Lagna? Guest guest
I often use nakshatras to correct a birthtime. End of Cancer and beginning of Leo have different nakshatras. And you can ask question to an other astrologer and see if that horoscope gives the answer. When I read your email the ascendant from that moment is 28°24' Cancer. Guest guest
Dear Tushar, Your data can be rectified by many ways matching with your current condition, D charts, etc. But I would recommend Puranic Mantras of planets by reciting which you can surely know which Lagna you belong to. Like - Puranic mantra of Candr will make you spend much money and all 12th lord effects if you are Leo lagna, and so on. This will not do anything serious but you will certainly feel the effect and know. If your lagna is in Cancer, Purnaic mantra of Candr will be good and not like 12th lord's mantra. This applies to all other planets as well. Also try to understand which planet did what kind of things in their periods - it will be easy to understand their lordship then! Does not sound easy? Guest guest
I am Western astrologer mainly. I used western horoscope to look at the question about birthtime. There is always a match between a question horoscope and the birth-horoscope of the person who asks the question. Horoscopes are always related. It also relates to the horoscope of the astrologer who answers the question. But the match is not always the ascendant of course. But in this case it was so close to the question that I think this could be the ascendant. - Tanvir Wednesday, May 21, 2003 12:12 PM Re: From Varshney JR- 39 Correct Birth Time Dear Clara, Your method is not clear to me.
