I stil am receiving all those emails about failing delivery from . But on TV they mentioned last night there was a new virus spreading worldwide called Blaster and an anti virus called Welchia. I do not know what to do to stop this. I forgot to update Norton Anti Virus, after I did yesterday. it detects virus when downloading, from it's own. Please note that - 1. You are receiving failuire delivery because from your account virus mails are sent automatically and I am rejecting them because I am moderating this list right now. 2. Your PC is still infected because it is sending virus mails, right now when writing this mail, I rejected 2 of your automated virus mails! The virus is sending virus mails from Upadhyay Jee, Amitabh Jee, Hiren Jee, srikrami, rakesh_sharma. Right now I rejected about 7/8 posts from them. So to be sure I downloaded McAfee yesterdayevening and installed it on my computer and run live update. Than I scanned my computer again. No virus detected! But I read the web information about sobig and it said this wurm can use accounts of someone else. So my account is used, but it does not come from my computer. Do you know anything I can do to stop the flood of useless emails obstructing my mailbox? Some said they change their ID. Will that stop it? The web says this goes on till 10 september. However, it is surprising that if your PC is infected then how come your mail account send viruses since you use a WEB BROWSER to send / read emails? No idea... but it is for sure that it is happening to INFECTED PEOPLE ONLY because I am getting virus-ed mails from A PARTICULAR SET OF PEOPLE and not from other thousand of ! / hotmail user. This list is safe now since it is in "TEXT ONLY" format, only the junk mails can bother us, and we can avoid opening them seeing the subject (After I am no longer moderating) but virus attack isnt possible from this list.
