It is not possible to prescibe any gem without analysing the complete

horoscope. Especially Blue sapphire can cause immense harm immediately, if

not suitable. Please get your complete horoscope checked from a good

astrologer.

Saturn is a powerful planet whose position in one's horoscope strongly

influences one's work and employment, as well as obstacles one must overcome

in order to succeed in one's chosen field. Saturn is associated with the

color blue, darkness, obstinacy, gambling, and chronic diseases. It governs

aging and death, yoga practice, foreign travel, hunters and thieves. While

When Saturn is exalted one will be long-lived, charitable, lavish,

fainting. VIOLET is the cosmic color transmitted by blue sapphires and

· A real blue sapphire emits blue sparks when placed in a glass of

water.

 

· A real blue sapphire emits blue light and, if placed in a glass of

cow's milk, the milk appears to have a bluish tinge.

 

· A real blue sapphire emits blue light in sunlight, and if placed

on a white piece of cloth, it makes the cloth appear blue on the spot where

the reflected light falls.

 

 

 

All tests mentioned under the section "Identification of Real Rubies" are

also applicable to blue sapphire, because ruby and sapphire belong to the

same corundum family and, as mentioned above, are sometimes found at the

same site.

 

 

Ritual

A blue sapphire should be bought on a Saturday when Saturn is posited in

Capricorn, Aquarius, or Libra, or when on a Saturday there is Shravan,

Dhanishtha, Kshat Bhikha, Purva Bhadrapad, Uttrakshad, Chitra, Svati, or

Vishakha.

 

 

 

The gemstone should be bought in the evening hours and given to the jeweler

on the same day, who should prepare a ring from a mixture of gold, iron, and

silver. For Saturn, the following mixture of 5 metals is best: 1 part gold,

2 parts silver, 3 parts lead, 4 parts iron and 1 part copper. The ring also

should be made in the evening hours of a Saturday when either Saturn is in

the zodiacal signs mentioned above or the nakshatras mentioned above are

present. The ring should be taken from the jeweler on a Saturday evening,

and the best time to wear the ring is evening.

 

 

 

The back should be open to allow the gemstone to touch the skin of the

finger.

 

 

 

When the ring is ready one should - on a Saturday when the above-mentioned

zodiacal signs or nakshatras are present - first immerse the ring in cow's

or water buffalo's milk, then wash it with Ganga-water, spring water,

rainwater, or water kept overnight in a copper pot.

 

 

 

Then one should write a Shani (Saturn) Yantra on a black cloth with red

sandalwood paste, rice-paste, or roli. Then an engraved yantra or idol of

Saturn made in iron or steel should be placed on the black cloth upon which

the yantra of Saturn is drawn. Before placing the idol or Saturn Yantra

engraved on the iron or steel plate it should be given a bath and dried with

a clean black, green, or white cloth. Then a tilak of roli or white

sandalwood paste with a pinch of saffron and organic camphor should be given

to the engraved yantra and the ring to honor both, and the engraved yantra

and the ring should be placed on a black cloth on which the yantra has

already been drawn. Then one should light a lamp and offer flowers and

incense to the engraved yantra and the gemstone embedded in the ring. Both

should be regarded as symbols of Lord Saturn, and then the mantra of Saturn.

 

 

Mantra

 

 

Aum Sham Shanaishcharaye Namah Aum

 

 

 

The mantra should be recited either 108 or 23,000 times. The worship should

start two hours before sunset. After recitation of the mantra one should

meditate on Saturn, whose color is black and who is seated on a vulture.

 

 

 

After meditation one should wear the ring on the middle finger of the right

hand, which is the Saturn finger. One should pray to Saturn for bestowing

the best results and providing help in overcoming difficulties.

 

 

 

The yantra to be written on the black cloth is the same as that to be

engraved on the steel or iron plate, as follows:

A ring worn in this way brings good luck, relieves poverty and suffering,

provides vitality, vigor, life force, longevity, happiness, peace, and

prosperity. It also cures problems caused by an afflicted, ill-aspected, or

wrongly posited Saturn.

 

 

 

Blue sapphire is the most powerful of all gemstones and shows its effect

within a short time. One should not use it if one does not need it.

Kashmir: The finest variety of blue sapphires comes from Kashmir. Today,

Kashmir blue sapphires come from an area near a village called Khan Sumzam.

 

 

 

Salem: A new mine of sapphires is now operating in Salem in southern India.

These sapphires are similar in color to the sapphires found in mines of

Bangkok, Thailand, but they have a deeper greenish tinge that comes from the

fusion of blue and yellow colors.

 

 

 

Burma: Sapphires from Mogok, Burma, are fine in color and lustre and are

found in all sizes. They are free of foreign matter and are good for

preparing medicines.

 

 

 

Thailand: The sapphires found in Thailand are darker than others and have a

mixture of greenish hues. They are the hardest and toughest sapphires, and

smooth as silk.

 

 

 

Fine qualities of blue sapphires are also found in Sri Lanka, Australia,

Cambodia, U.S.A., Russia and South Africa.

 

 

Blue Sapphire/ Neelmani (Saturn): This is normally faint or dark blue in

colour. Sapphire or Neelmani is a very cold gem. They are yellow or blue in

colour. Removes evil effects of Saturn. It should be tested before use. It

brings wealth, name and fame. Also gives good stamina, longevity and

security in life. Can improve fertility in a barren woman. Best suited for

joy, love and happiness. It cures fainting, fits, virility, mental disorder,

deafness and baldness. It should be used on 2nd finger of right hand in gold

or panch dhatu on Saturday and the weight is 5 or 7 grams.

 

BLUE SAPPHIRE(NEELAM)

 

Sani or Saturn represents longevity, discipline, authority, ambition,

leadership, honesty, perfection, humility, elders, denial, delays, misery,

adversity, accidents, conservatism and dutifulness. It's role is often

symbolized as a servant. It's influence is often seen as restrictive or

obstructive yet its influence also seeks to bring balance. It's influences

may be harmonized by the blue sapphire. Sani is furthest from the Sun. Sani

or Saturn in the human physiology is expressed through the activities of the

putamen. The putamen, like Sani in the solar system, is placed at the outer

edge of the basal ganglia. It's influence, like Sani, is that of a servant.

It receives major input and instructions that it transmits to the basal

ganglia. Has the color of red smoke or honey. Also zericon, chemically it is

silicate of zirconium and crystal and occurs either as a four sided prism or

as water pebbles. To be consider auspicious, the stone should reflect a pure

color, be homogenous and

soft to touch. If it shows a blackish is rough to touch and looks like a

piece of yellow glass, the gomedha is not auspicious. The best gomedha comes

from Sri Lanka. In India the stone is found in Kashmir, Bihar, Kullu, Shimla

and Koimbatore. This is a very strong gem and its' use can be adverse

sometimes. It's wearing purifies the mind. The mind is charged with virtuous

thoughts and positive attitude. Sapphire is worn to protect one from evil

effect of Saturn.

sir,

i have rahu ,ketu in mooltrikon ie ketu in 2 nd house (meen)and rahu in 8

th house(kanya).i think ketu must be malefic as i had experienced a very bad

period in ketu dasha during the period 1995 to 2002.but is there any postive

aspects of rahu and ketu in mooltrikon.WILL KETU BE BENEFIC IN LIFE AND RAHU
