Dear Friends: Moon moves to 7 degrees Capricorn, today, at 9am, Friday, 10/31st..... Or... Adjusting For Different Time Zones....! Moon moving through Capricorn should be rather nice and un-dramatic, over the next couple of days. This is primarely because there are no malefic influences upon the Moon. No, Rahu, no Ketu, no Saturn, no Mars.... See if you notice a nice smooth, change of events. And this is where we need to branch out into the other areas of our Charts. I had another friend from Chicago who was experiencing a lot of wierd experiences and 'losses' at work. And her question was, why these disappointments and set-backs? So, Andy, and all, it will be very good if we can simultaneously look into our Dasas periods as well as our Charts....to really refine the 'whys' of these 'malefic' moments." For me, I have Saturn in my 12th House, and most of my life, I wouldn't say I was a particularly patient person. So, very quickly I got the sense that Saturn was trying to teach me to be more patient. And then over time, I started to realize...Saturn direcly, intimately, teaches us....patience. It teaches us 'not this way', and 'not at this time'. That's why Saturn is responsible for the 'timings' of things. And Nature's trying to teach us about being more efficient, not wasting time, and truely moving in the better or more right directions for ourselves. We can experiment with these ideas, but my suggestion is to try things in a slightly more 'benefic' Saturn way, and see if things don't smooth out. For example, let go of the since that you can hold on to the thing that's being witheld from you, or taken away. Saturn is really big on helping us learn to let go and not hold on or be attached to anything! So, try that. Also, Saturn wants to teach us most often, to perform life's actions with more silence, balance or smoothness. So, franticness, un-due excitment or irritableness, all tend to dis-mantle or ability to fulfill desires without stress. So, when things are being delayed or taken away, try it this way. Let go and embrace more inner Silence. And see how you feel. In some instances, we can't achieve a different outcome, anyway, no matter what we try. So, we might as well try another way. Here's one more experience from another r. >From Manu: "Mark, I thought the day was supposed to be good and it was worse. I lost my things in the bus, and the Office environment was bad, the boss was in a bad mood and a lot of tension there with me. (Though I don't know the reason) I won't call it a good day at all. why?" "Dear Manu: Very good question and I'm sorry for the upsetness of it all. But, as I said over the last 2 days, there might be these 2 malefic influences inspite of the fact that the Moon was going to be moving into a better Sign, ie. Sagittarius. And your experience was like text book for each of the malefic situations. You said, 'loss of things in the bus'. This was happening when Saturn was influencing the Moon and for you, loss had a particularly personal effect. And the 'Office environment...being bad' almost sounds like a combination of the Saturn and Rahu effects from Aries, that we mentioned. 'Boss being in a bad mood', definitely sounds like Saturn and Rahu, both having the potential of influencing the 'Moods' of the Mind, which is so Moonish! And you also mentioned he had 'tension' with you. And this gets to the real practical effects of studying Jyotish. We want to come to know and Master these things so we don't allow the 'negativities' of the Cosmos to effect us. Your boss obviously didn't know where these influences were coming from and so he blamed you. Jyotish teaches us not to blame anyone for what's going on in life. For awhile we may blame, 'Life', but later we'll realize even those experiences, themselves, are also our 'karmas', coming back to us. And because we've created everything, then at some point we realize we're really 'free'! to change everything! And that gets to Real, Transformative, Consciousness, Jyotish... and even now we're beginning to discuss these things! 'Other Transits, Going on, Now.......' 3 Planets Still in Libra! Mercury, 18 degrees Sun, 14 degrees too!!!! Mercury & Sun, moving now to more than 4 degrees, apart so hopefully, you'll begin to feel the relief! Ketu.... 26:37 degrees... and Rahu's at 26:37 degrees in Aries... And Rahu and Ketu produce, or reflect back, many strange and unusual experiences... Hopefully, you won't notice this increasing, but there's some slight chance it may as the Sun, itself gets closer and closer to the exact degrees of Ketu! We'll talk later in the next 12 days how we can be better prepared for that! Sun's Weakness In Libra..... Sun's, today, 10/29.... moves to 14 degrees....Libra, This is the weakest time of the year, for the Sun... 10/17 - 11/16..... People haven't been complaining so much about less Self-Confidence or maybe it's just the other Malefic influences have been predominanting! So.... Good Luck! And... Take care Mark Kincaid PS...
