Moon Continues in Taurus Today...

At 19 degrees... Exaltation in Taurus!

Dear Friends:

The Moon has moved to 19 degrees Taurus, today,

as of 8:00am, Monday 12/8th.......

CST....

USA...

Section One: Transits....

Moon moves 19 degrees of Exaltation, in Taurus today!

Moon's Exalted or in it's favorite Sign in Taurus.

And was your first day of the Moon's Exaltation, yesterday, wonderful!

Today, the Moon continues in this very pure, sublime energy but also approaches

it's Full Moon, status!

Sun's at 22 degrees of Scorpio today so Full Moon comes when the Moon

reaches 22 degrees in Taurus as well.

See how the two are in opposite Signs ?

This represents the Full Moon When the Moon's in the same Sign as the Sun,

that represents a New Moon!

So, let's see, Moon moves 1 degree every 2 hours, so Moon will reach 22

degrees from it's present 19 degrees, in say 3 x 2 = 6 Hours!

So, 2pm, here, CST. So, in 6 hours from wherever you are!

And that'll be the Full Moon.

So, enjoy this last wonderful, 'oasis' of a Transit day.

For tomorrow it changes.

But, today, the Stars teach us about the Highest value of the Moon's functioning!

It's Exaltation in Taurus, teaches us about the quality of the Moon,

and the Moon's Fullness

in Scorpio, teaches us about the 'Size' of the Moon.

Quality and tremendous Quantity of Moon. !

Let's all aspire to improve our own Moons!

Our Moons, is that through which we manifest our entire lives!

The Sun, is that through which we have a 'Soul', Spiritual connection,

or ground, through which we function!

The Sun & Moon are called the 'Luminaries', and as such both, are supposed

to be strong and lit up!

Section Two: Experiences of

Previous....Transits....

Here's one of our r's experiences of yesterday's Moon, in Taurus,

Exaltation!

"Dear Mark, Wow, yesterday felt soooo good! I haven't had such a good time

for many weeks... Even as the Moon was in Aries, (my best sign/house) and was

growing towards full moon I felt a great relief. But now the effect is even

stronger since Moon's exaltation. Finally this long lasting horrow movie is

over. What I had missed so much for a long time, was this emotional strength.

Really cosmic. Take care, Christoph."

This is a wonderful experience of the Moon's Transits.

Now, you have experienced in a very pure way the real full potential of the

Moon. And we can now let it inspire us to 'be' this way, always.

Strong, emotionally powerful and sublime.

But, don't be too attached. Quickly the Moon moves on, expressing the next

round of 'karmas' that we are supposed to face. But, each Transiting moment

has some great Jyotish Wisdom to teach us.

And, as we learn each step, we feel renewed and empowered, till the Stars are

our friends. And we are doing right by them and they in turn are giving us our

new, insightful 'consequences', as well!

Section Three:

'Other Important Transits,

Going on, Now.......'

Tomorrow, the Moon moves into Gemini where it will run into Saturn & Mar's

collective influencing. So, today, we can plan ahead how to be ready,

how to be prepared to take maximum advantage of that change in Cosmic scenery.

Did you notice how you 'felt' as the Moon transited Gemini and Saturn, last

month? Did you experience the 'malefic' or 'benefic' Saturn last month?

This time, let's try and experience the 'benefic' quality. We'll know it by the

emotional, or Moonish experience of Saturn that we experience.

If we feel fabulous, though 'inward'....

Wonderful....but 'thoughtful'....

Happy....though, 'silent'....

Then, we're experiencing Saturn's benefit qualities.

If we feel anxious, or worried,

If we feel impatient and pacing back and forth, especially inside,

if we feel sadness or grief....then these are Saturn's malefic qualities.

Saturn tells us how in-tune we are with Nature's Silence!

Saturn will also tell us how in-tune we are with our own 'Restfulness'.

If we're not, rested enough, then these Saturn moments tend to be 'malefic'.

If we're in-tune, then these Saturn moments are divine!,

Insightful....and stirring in so many ways!

Section Four:

3 Pillars of Jyotish!

We've been talking about the fact that our every day, our Jyotish, reality

actually includes 3 simultaneous Jyotish parts.

These I like to call the 3 Pillars of Jyotish and include

the 'Chart, and Dasas as well as the Transits'....

I also have been comparing them .....to

....A Boat moving across the Water.

The Boat is like our Charts.... the stable think through which we're moving!

The Water, which is the 'medium' through which we're found traveling,

then..... is like our Dasas...which is the 'medium', emotional inner happenings

through which we're evolving.

and the Wind, or Temperature, of the Water......is like our Transits....

which represents the physical environment, creating either smooth sailing, or

head winds, kind of resistance, or friciton-less flow!

Remember to check these 3 Primary Aspects of your Astrology to truely

understand what you're presently going through....

Here's a sample from our friend Christoph, who was not only aware of his

Transits, but of his Dasas and Chart as well!

"Dear Mark, Wow, I feel so good! I haven't had such a good time for many weeks.

Now, the effect is even stronger since the Moon's exaltation.

Also it seem to me, that Mars has released its malefic grip. Since friday night

I feel a more constant power, everything seems so much more easy. Maybe, it's

due to Mars moving towards the postion of my Mars in my chart. (5 deg Pisces).

The togetherness of Venus and Saturn doesn't seem to influence me so much.

Perhaps it's because these grahas rule my Dasha periods, (Saturn, Mahadasa &

Venus Antara dasha), which according to Jyotish texts, should have a benefic

influence in my case."

"Dear Christoph & All: What a wonderful explanation of all three of these

aspects of your Jyotish Chart, at the same time; Transits, Chart and Dasas!

Well done. I'd also like to say, I think you've gotten even better at seeing

these three aspects of your Chart, since completing my last Jyotish class from

the Summer. I remember when I first cognized that these 3 aspects of Jyotish

were really going on, all the time.

I was looking at the palm of my hand one day, like it was my chart, and then,

all of a sudden, 'wammy', I realized that everything that I knew about myself,

in fact everything that I was going through, even, in my day-to-day life; I had

been able to find by either looking at my Chart, Dasas or Transits.... and

'Voila', 'Eureka'! That was it! Jyotish 'aha'! Wow!

Section Five: Benefits of Astrology

Previously we've been talking about:

The primary benefit that comes to us from Astrology....

is greater Mastery over life...

So, today, we can connect this ability to see your life, in either your Chart,

Dasas or Transits.

First of all, it makes you feel settled. At least you know why you're going

through what you're going through. Maybe it's still rough, but at least now

there's an explanation.

That experience alone, will make you feel more peaceful, and eliminate confusion.

Section Nine: Jyotish Philosophy

Today I thought it might be fun to talk about Jyotish Astrological...

'Symbolisms'.....

There are these experiences in life, and there are these qualities

of 'us' in life...

that are quite captured by Nature's Astrological Symbolisms....

For example the ideas and meanings and even characteristics...

of Astrology....in general....

quite nicely can be described in terms of 'Symbolisms'....

For example, we're running to catch our train, and running down

the stairs we slip and twist our ankle.

This is a real life experience.... but contained within this experience...

is a bonafide!....

Astrological Symbolism....

Accidents, slipping, fallings, cuts, brusises, burns....car accidents,

stumbling accidents....

all!

Are related to Mars!

Mars is the primary Planet for Accidents....

So when we're having accidents, in fact right before we have an accident...

see if you can see the Mars....

symptom...

which is Nature trying to tell you that you're on the verge of a Mars'

Accident!

Learn to listen to the Astrological 'Symbolism' that is goings on....

and See the Signs!

Then, we can begin to adjust more early....

Instead of after we hit bottom, either at the bottom of our stairs...

or at the bottom of our hearts...

See if we can learn to 'Hear' Nature's Astrological symbolisms....

Section Ten: Degrees of Today's Transits.

Today's Transits:

Draw your own Transit Map, for today....

Take a piece of paper and draw a big circle...

Divide the circle into 12 slices of a pie, or 12 parts...

and in the middle, where they connect put a dot.

This dot, make slightly bigger. This is the Earth...

And then make a little circle around the Earth.

This is the Moon!

Now number the 12 slices with 12 numbers; 1,2,3,4,5...etc.

These represent the different Signs, Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, etc.

Now...put the Sun and Planets of Today's Transits....

into these slices...

These are Today's Transits!

Sun's in #8....Scorpio....

Moon' in #1...Aries...

like that...

It's really quite wonderful to watch the details of each day's Transits...

and the inner realities....of our life experiences!

PS.... One final Note: If you look at your Individual Jyotish Chart...

Find your Rising Sign....

Then take your Transits' Map and move around till the Sign in the slice,

corresponds with your Rising Sign....

This will really help you see the effects upon you!

Also.... you can put your Planets from your chart....into the slices, too....

And this will show you, graphically....how the Transits...and Charts....

go hand and hand!
