Moon moves into Gemini Today...!

Dear Friends:

The Moon has moved to 1 degrees Gemini, today,

as of 9:00am, Tuesday 12/9th.......

CST....

USA...

Section One: Transits....

Moon moves 1 degrees of Gemini today, or 'as we speak'.

Don't forget this is CST, but the following Transits, though they come through

different Time Zones.... but...the Transits will be the same for all for the

next 24 hours! Wherever you live.

Did you feel the 'shift', the 'transition' from Taurus, to Gemini?

What a difference. From that sweet, un-complicated, pure Moon in Taurus..

now we move back into other 'vibrations'.

Today, and over the next few days...Moon's Transiting Gemini, and though this is

normally a fine Transit. Moon likes being in Gemini.

Gemini represents the 'two' of the 'twin' Stars: Pollex & Castor, in the sky.

As such, Gemini loves the concept of two. Therefore, Gemini's love doing two or

even more things at a time.

Gemini's are very good at juggling 2 or more things at once.

As it turns out the Universe is an infinite number of things at once. Mother's

juggle many things at once, so often times, Mothers with Gemini tell me it

helps them.

However, like every other Sign, one must always watch imbalance.

Imbalance for Geminis is to do too many things at once. They'll say, well if

two are good, why not 3 or 4. Then, spreading themselves too thin, the quality

of their juggling suffers and then they don't have time to really do justice to

any of their concerns.

Like that, we'll find ourselves enjoying doing many things at once....over the next few days.

But, this Month, this year, today, both Saturn and Mars are influencing Gemini.

Saturn's been in Gemini, presently at 17 degrees so it's been there for awhile.

 

So, for those perhaps sensitive to the imbalances of Gemini, anyway, maybe from

their Jyotish Charts, this might be a sensitive Transit....

For all of us, we'll notice a Saturn experience upon the Moon, especially

tomorrow when the Moon climbs closer to Saturn.

However, also, Mars is influencing Gemini. From it's new Transit moving into

Pisces; Mars aspects 4 houses away so from Pisces, Mars is aspecting Gemini.

And since Mars is still in the earliest stages of Pisces, (2 degrees) there's a

strong chance that we'll feel some of it's 'malefic' influence today!

Therefore, be careful... not to buy into too much Mars, fieryness, this am.

The good news is that Mars is not so strong in the earlier stages of a Sign...

as it will be later when Mars is say at 8 - 10 degrees Pisces.

So.... enjoy the shift.... watching of course, Saturn & Mars' potentially, 'malefic' effects.

But, now we know we can prepare for these 'malefic' moments.

And if we can make an effort to stay balanced in the qualities of the

out-of-balance Planets....then we stand a great chance of not! getting sucked

into any wierdnesses, or calamaties.

We will however notice others are often still caught up in these Cosmic

complications, .... and we can offer to help them too.

And yet, if not, at least we can take care of ourselves!

Section Two: Experiences of

Previous....Transits....

Here's one of our r's experiences of yesterday's Moon, in Taurus,

Exaltation!

Section Three:

'Other Important Transits,

Going on, Now.......'

It'll be a bit 'intense' or dramatic over the next couple of days. Well, at

least we got a break these last couple of ones.

Part of the 'drama' is 5 of the 9 Jyotish Planetary Configurations; Moon,

Saturn, Venus, Mercury and Mars.... are all involved in this Gemini,

Sagittarius, 'corridor'.....

It's 'intensity' of effects will be less after the Moon moves into Cancer, where

it's happily in it's own Sign! And without any Malefic Influence!

Section Four:

3 Pillars of Jyotish!

We've been talking about the fact that our every day, our Jyotish, reality

actually includes 3 simultaneous Jyotish parts.

These I like to call the 3 Pillars of Jyotish and include

the 'Chart, and Dasas as well as the Transits'....

I also have been comparing them .....to

....A Boat moving across the Water.

The Boat is like our Charts.... the stable think through which we're moving!

The Water, which is the 'medium' through which we're found traveling,

then..... is like our Dasas...which is the 'medium', emotional inner happenings

through which we're evolving.

and the Wind, or Temperature, of the Water......is like our Transits....

which represents the physical environment, creating either smooth sailing, or

head winds, kind of resistance, or friciton-less flow!

Remember to check these 3 Primary Aspects of your Astrology to truely

understand what you're presently going through....

Here's a sample from our friend Christoph, who was not only aware of his

Transits, but of his Dasas and Chart as well!

"Dear Mark, Wow, I feel so good! I haven't had such a good time for many weeks.

Now, the effect is even stronger since the Moon's exaltation.

Also it seem to me, that Mars has released its malefic grip. Since friday night

I feel a more constant power, everything seems so much more easy. Maybe, it's

due to Mars moving towards the postion of my Mars in my chart. (5 deg Pisces).

The togetherness of Venus and Saturn doesn't seem to influence me so much.

Perhaps it's because these grahas rule my Dasha periods, (Saturn, Mahadasa &

Venus Antara dasha), which according to Jyotish texts, should have a benefic

influence in my case."

Well done. I'd also like to say, I think you've gotten even better at seeing

these three aspects of your Chart, since completing my last Jyotish class from

the Summer. I remember when I first cognized that these 3 aspects of Jyotish

were really going on, all the time.

I was looking at the palm of my hand one day, like it was my chart, and then,

all of a sudden, 'wammy', I realized that everything that I knew about myself,

in fact everything that I was going through, even, in my day-to-day life; I had

been able to find by either looking at my Chart, Dasas or Transits.... and

'Voila', 'Eureka'! That was it! Jyotish 'aha'! Wow!

Section Nine: Jyotish Philosophy

Today I thought it might be fun to talk about Jyotish Astrological...

'Symbolisms'.....

There are these experiences in life, and there are these qualities

of 'us' in life...

that are quite captured by Nature's Astrological Symbolisms....

For example the ideas and meanings and even characteristics...

of Astrology....in general....

quite nicely can be described in terms of 'Symbolisms'....

For example, we're running to catch our train, and running down

the stairs we slip and twist our ankle.

This is a real life experience.... but contained within this experience...

is a bonafide!....

Astrological Symbolism....

Accidents, slipping, fallings, cuts, brusises, burns....car accidents,

stumbling accidents....

all!

Are related to Mars!

Mars is the primary Planet for Accidents....

So when we're having accidents, in fact right before we have an accident...

see if you can see the Mars....

symptom...

which is Nature trying to tell you that you're on the verge of a Mars'

Accident!

Learn to listen to the Astrological 'Symbolism' that is goings on....

and See the Signs!

Then, we can begin to adjust more early....

Instead of after we hit bottom, either at the bottom of our stairs...

Draw your own Transit Map, for today....

Take a piece of paper and draw a big circle...

Divide the circle into 12 slices of a pie, or 12 parts...

and in the middle, where they connect put a dot.

This dot, make slightly bigger. This is the Earth...

And then make a little circle around the Earth.

This is the Moon!

Now number the 12 slices with 12 numbers; 1,2,3,4,5...etc.

These represent the different Signs, Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, etc.

Now...put the Sun and Planets of Today's Transits....

into these slices...

These are Today's Transits!

Sun's in #8....Scorpio....

Moon' in #1...Aries...

like that...

PS.... One final Note: If you look at your Individual Jyotish Chart...

Find your Rising Sign....

Then take your Transits' Map and move around till the Sign in the slice,

corresponds with your Rising Sign....

This will really help you see the effects upon you!

Also.... you can put your Planets from your chart....into the slices, too....

And this will show you, graphically....how the Transits...and Charts....

go hand and hand!
