Guest guest
Dear Dharmananda Prabhu, Thank you for your comment. Lord Rama! Do you mean Lord Ramacandra, King of Ayodha and He Who fought with Ravana?! If so, a sudden strong curiosity came to my mind. Did the Avataras of the Supreme Lord also accept being influenced by planetary forces? I mean, Ramacandra and other incarnations of God are different manifestations of the Supreme Lord and all other Demigods serve Him and offer Him reverences. Yet, could They have temporarily accepted being governed by the Laws of Nature during His stay on Earth? I am sorry if this query is inappropriate or out of context. I just wonder. All the Avataras have personalities, and as far as I know, they appear in very auspicious moments. Just a thought that came to my mind…. Thank you again, Roy - Dharmananda Sunday, January 25, 2004 12:29 AM Re: Sun & Moon - Angie Saturn and Ketu are Moksha Karakas. The 12th is a Moksha house. Lord Rama is reputed to have had Ketu in the 12th. This powerful Moksha house means past spiritual practice, an urge to renunciation in the present, and a capacity for Moksha in this life. If Saturn is the final dispositor of the the chart, this is the birth of a very powerful renunciate indeed. Yes, I do haveSundebilitated in my chart, but in the 9th (and not the 12th). Yet, I am verycurious in the mystery that hides behind the 12th. Beside the predominantandcommon significations such as expenditure, liberation, losses, left eye, foreign residence, sexual enjoyment, jails, hospitals, it also stands for the nature of one'sprevious incarnation.I have no idea how one can pull out interpretations regarding one's previousincarnationfrom the planets that occupy this house. I personally have Saturn and Ketuand Capricorn inthe 12th, having Saturn in it's own sign. SiteBuilder - Free web site building tool. Try it! ~! Guest guest
Of course, it's a legend. I can't speak for the Avatars of Vishnu. But there is a principle of the Avatar having to come to earth to function in His Divine role. There is also a principle of the Avatar being an example, and taking on certain qualities for that purpose. I believe that they all had Gurus, even though they were greater than their Gurus. And they all had birth charts. But of course, their consciousness was that of the very God, and they were not limited by the conditions of their births.
